Abstract

A system offering simplified bi-directional video communication between a user and a device of a pre-configured one or more persons of interest includes a touch display with a pictorial representation of each of the one or more persons of interest and a pictorial representation of one or more health indicators. The touch display is configured to establish the bi-directional video communication with a selected one of said persons of interest in response to a single touch of the pictorial representation of the selected one of the persons of interest. In one implementation, the system includes one or more biometric telemetry devices for acquiring and transmitting biometric data associated with a specific health indicator to the touch display, which is then transmitted to a database, processed and accessed by one or more authorized persons. In another implementation, the system includes a workflow engine for healthcare management of the patient.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system for managing health information of a user comprising:
a one-touch communication device to enable bi-directional video communication between said user and one or more persons of interest; one or more biometric telemetry devices, each biometric telemetry device used for acquiring and transmitting biometric data associated with a specific health indicator of the user to the communication device; said communication device transmits said biometric data to a database for processing; said processed biometric data is accessed by the one or more persons of interest authorized to access the health information of the user.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user manually inputs biometric data associated with a particular health indicator.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the health indicator is blood pressure, weight, step count, blood oxygen level, or heartrate.

4 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the particular health indicator is blood glucose level.

5 . The system of any one of claim 1 , wherein during transmission of the biometric data to the touch display, a graphical representation of the biometric data is displayed on the touch display.

6 . The system of any one of claim 1 , further comprising a signaling component based on Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, and a video communication component based on Real-Time Communication (RTC).

7 . The system of any one of claim 1 , further comprising wireless connectivity between said touch display and each of the one or more biometric devices.

8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the wireless connectivity is established using one or more of Bluetooth, Zigbee and WIFI.

9 . A method for managing health information of a user comprising:
enabling a bi-directional video communication using a one-touch communication device between said user and one or more persons of interest; acquiring biometric data associated with a specific health indicator of the user; transmitting said biometric data to the communication device for transmission to a database for processing; said processed biometric data is accessed by the one or more persons of interest authorized to access the health information of the user.

10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising inputting manually by the user said biometric data associated with a particular health indicator.

11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the health indicator is blood pressure, weight, step count, blood oxygen level, or heartrate.

12 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the particular health indicator is blood glucose level.

13 . The method of any one of claim 9 , wherein during transmission of the biometric data to the touch display, a graphical representation of the biometric data is displayed on the touch display.

14 . The method of any one of claim 9 , further comprising a signaling component based on Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, and a video communication component based on Real-Time Communication (RTC).

15 . The method of any one of claim 9 , further comprising wireless connectivity between said touch display and each of the one or more biometric devices.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the wireless connectivity is established using one or more of Bluetooth, Zigbee and WIFI.
