Abstract

Various embodiments automatically generate a patient presence for a health-related data management system (HRDMS). In one embodiment, a secure communication is received from at least one electronic health management system comprising at least patient identifying information associated with a given individual. A set of user profiles associated with the HRDMS is analyzed based on the patient identifying information. A determination is made, based on the analyzing, that the given individual fails to include an account with the HRDMS. The given individual is automatically registered with the HRDMS based on the determination. A communication is automatically sent to at least one of the electronic health management system and the given individual, and includes at least the login identifier, the password. The communication notifies the at least one of the electronic health management system and the given individual that the given individual has been automatically registered with the HRDMS.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
automatically sending a communication to at least one of the health-related information source and the given individual, wherein communication notifies the at least one of the health-related information source and the given individual that the given individual has been automatically registered with the HRDMS.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the communication sent to the at least one of the health-related information source and the given individual comprises at least
a login identifier and a login password for the HRDMS, and a uniform resource locator pointing to the HRDMS.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one communication is a secure communication.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the secure communication conforms to a DIRECT messaging standard and is addressed to a DIRECT messaging address of the HRDMS.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one communication further comprises health-related data associated with the given individual.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein one or more of the patient identifying information and health-related data are included within the at least one communication as one of structured and unstructured data.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein automatically registering the given individual further comprises:
automatically generating at least one of a login identifier and a login password associated with the given individual for the HRDMS.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining, based on receiving the at least one communication, if a health care facility associated with the at least one communication has not been previously registered with the HRDMS; and based on determining that the health care facility has not been previously registered with the HRDMS, automatically registering the health care facility based on information within the at least one communication.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein automatically registering the given individual further comprises:
mapping the user profile of the given individual to at least one profile associated with at least one of a health care facility associated with the at least one communication and the health-related information source.

11 . A method, by an information processing system, the method comprising:
receiving at least one communication from one or more health-related information sources, wherein the communication comprises at least one electronic health-related record and patient identifying information associated with a given individual, and wherein the communication is absent a request for registering the given individual with a health-related data management system (HRDMS) configured on the information processing system, the HRDMS coupling a plurality of health-related participants to each other; analyzing a set of user profiles associated with the HRDMS based on the patient identifying information; determining that an account for the HRDMS fails to be associated with the given individual; automatically registering, based on the determining, the given individual with the HRDMS, wherein automatically registering the given individual comprises at least generating a user profile for the given individual based at least on the patient identifying information within the communication; and generating and storing a HRDMS record comprising the at least patient identifying information from the at least one electronic health-related record of the communication, the HRDMS record being presentable to a user in a standardized format.

12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
automatically sending a communication to at least one of the health-related information source and the given individual, wherein communication notifies the at least one of the health-related information source and the given individual that the given individual has been automatically registered with the HRDMS.

13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one communication is a secure communication.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the secure communication conforms to a DIRECT messaging standard and is addressed to a DIRECT messaging address of the HRDMS.

15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
receiving a request from a first health-related participant for health-related data associated with at least one individual; obtaining the health-related data from at least a second health-related participant; and transmitting, based on the obtaining, the health-related data to the first health-related participant.

16 . A method, by an information processing system comprising a health-related data management system (HRDMS), comprising:
receiving a plurality of communications from a plurality of different health-related information sources, wherein each communication of the plurality of communications comprises at least one electronic health-related record and patient identifying information associated with a given individual, where at least two of the electronic health-related records comprise different record formats; and for each secure communication of the plurality of secure communications:
determining if an account for the HRDMS is associated with the given individual; and
based on an account for the HRDMS being associated with the given individual, generating and storing an HRDMS record comprising the at least patient identifying information from the at least one electronic health-related record of the communication, the HRDMS record being presentable to a user in a standardized format.

17 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
based on an account for the HRDMS failing to be associated with the given individual, automatically registering the given individual with the HRDMS, wherein automatically registering the given individual comprises at least generating a user profile for the given individual based at least on the patient identifying information within the communication.
