Abstract

A requisition system for safety items such as first aid kits, blood borne pathogen kits, automatic external defibrillators, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors automatically generates a list of supplies for such items. The requisition system operates on a mobile electronic device. The user or customer can efficiently undertake an inventory of the replaceable supplies for the safety items and generate a requisition for such safety items. The requisition system provides for an automatic notification alert to the user and also provides an alert notification button to initiate an inventory of replaceable supplies. A requisition of the replaceable supplies is automatically communicated to the supplier. The requisition system also automatically generates a requisition of supplies so that a first aid kit or other safety item fully complies with applicable current safety standards. The requisition system also is operable to implement an automatic replenishment of supplies.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A requisition system for a multiplicity of safety items each having an identifier and one or more replaceable supplies comprising:
providing a database comprising a multiplicity of safety items and a list of replaceable supplies for each safety item; registering a customer for said safety items; generating a list of replaceable supplies for each customer; indicating an inventory for each said replaceable supply; drafting a requisition of supplies from said list of replaceable supplies and the inventory; and communicating said requisition of supplies to a supplier.

2 . The requisition system of claim 1 wherein said safety items comprise items from the group consisting of a first aid kit, a blood borne pathogen kit, an eyewash station, an automatic external defibrillator and a smoke detector.

3 . The requisition system of claim 1 further comprising activating a notification alert to generate an inventory for selected replaceable supplies.

4 . The requisition system of claim 1 further comprising automatically activating said notification alert.

5 . The requisition system of claim 1 wherein indicating the inventory comprises generating an inventory display on a screen selected from the group consisting of FULL, ½, ¼ and EMPTY inventory.

6 . The system of claim 5 wherein each said replaceable supply which has a ¼ or EMPTY display is automatically transferred to a draft requisition.

7 . The requisition system of claim 1 and further comprising compiling a history of said requisition of supplies.

8 . The requisition system of claim 1 wherein generating a list of supplies further comprises generating a retro list which will bring a safety item into full contemporary compliance.

9 . The requisition system of claim 1 further comprising registering a subscription to implement automatic replenishment of replaceable supplies.

10 . A requisition system for a plurality of safety items each having an identifier and one or more replaceable supplies comprising:
providing a database comprising a plurality of safety items and a list of replaceable supplies for each safety item; registering a customer for said safety items; alerting the customer to inventory a selected safety item; generating a list of replaceable supplies for said selected safety item; indicating an inventory for each said replaceable supply of said selected safety item; and drafting a requisition of supplies from said inventory and said list of replaceable supplies.

11 . The requisition system of claim 10 wherein safety items comprises items from the group consisting of a first aid kit, a blood borne pathogen kit, an eyewash station, an automatic external defibrillator and a smoke detector.

12 . The requisition system of claim 10 further comprising activating a notification alert to check a cabinet or generate an inventory for selected replaceable supplies.

13 . The requisition system of claim 10 further comprising automatically activating said notification alert.

14 . The requisition system of claim 10 wherein indicating an inventory comprises generating an inventory display on a screen selected from the group consisting of FULL, ½, ¼ and EMPTY inventory.

15 . The requisition system of claim 14 wherein each said inventory display is in the form of a text and each said replaceable supply which has a corresponding ¼ or EMPTY text is automatically transferred to a draft requisition.

16 . The requisition system of claim 10 further comprising registering a subscription to implement an automatic replenishment of selected replaceable supplies.

17 . The requisition system of claim 1 further comprising transmitting a communication to service a safety item selected from the group consisting of a carbon monoxide detector, an AED, a respirator, a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector.

18 . The requisition system of claim 1 wherein said steps of requesting, generating, indicating, drafting and communicating are accomplished on a mobile electronic device.

19 . The requisition system of claim 1 further comprising generating a schematic which illustrates a location of each said replaceable supply of a safety item.

20 . The requisition system of claim 10 further comprising generating a schematic illustration of a position of each said supply in the first aid kit.
