Method for hair straightening and relative device for hair straightening
Abstract
A method for hair straightening comprising the steps of heating a hair plate (20) at a working temperature (T), applying to the hair a gas flow that changes the gas environment around the hair, and simultaneously passing the plate (20) slowly over one lock at a time carrying out a plurality of passages. In particular, the gas environment around the hair is composed of air wherein the chemical components have been varied (for example, it is hydrogen enriched), or the oxygen percentage has been varied, or a gas compound normally not present has been added. The relative straightening device comprises a gas flow generator (10) connected, through a conduit (14), to a dispensing plate (20) heated by heating means (21); the generator (10) comprises a hydrogen generator (11) connected to dispensing means (24) provided on the dispensing plate (20) at the heating means (41).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 15 . (canceled)
16 . A method for straightening hair, the method comprising the steps of:
heating a plate for hair to a working temperature; applying to the hair a gas flow that changes gas environment around the hair; and simultaneously passing the plate slowly over one lock at a time carrying out a plurality of passages, wherein the gas environment around the hair during passage of the plate is enriched with hydrogen by a gas flow generator comprising a hydrogen generator.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the step of applying a gas flow to the hair provides for applying a pure hydrogen gas flow through nozzles distributed along the plate or in its vicinity, allowing proper dilution during its dispersion.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein hydrogen is supplied with a flow rate between 150 ml/min and 250 ml/min.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the plate is heated to a working temperature between 200° C. and 250° C.
20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the step of passing the plate over one lock at a time involves carrying out at least a total of ten passages, either consecutive or interspersed with an intermediate treatment step.
21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein a pre-treatment step of dampening hair with an aqueous solution is provided.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the aqueous solution is selected from water, demineralized water, saline water containing at least 3% sodium chloride, and water comprising at least 0.1% polyglutamic acid.
23 . The method of claim 16 , wherein a pre-treatment step is provided wherein hair is combed and dried with a hair dryer (curling treatment), or washed with shampoo and dried with a hairdryer.
24 . The method of claim 16 , wherein an intermediate treatment step of dampening hair with an aqueous solution after a certain number of passages of the plate is provided.
25 . A device for straightening hair applying the method of claim 16 , the device comprising a gas flow generator connected through a conduit to a dispensing plate heated to a working temperature via heating means,
wherein said gas flow generator comprises a hydrogen generator connected through the conduit to dispensing means provided on the dispensing plate near the heating means.
26 . The device of claim 25 , wherein the hydrogen generator is an electrolyzer, or a proton exchange membrane PEM, or at least a hydrogen cylinder.
27 . The device of claim 25 , further comprising, connected to the hydrogen generator, an enrichment device for enriching the gas flow with vapor from liquid, including steam.
28 . The device of claim 27 , wherein the enrichment device is a bubbler or an ultrasonic wet mist generator.
29 . The device of claim 25 , further comprising pumping means configured to push the gas flow through the conduit towards the dispensing plate, and/or means for regulating the gas flow.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
