Abstract
Various aspects described herein relate to receiving a first communication over a first set of resources based on a first transmission time interval (TTI), receiving a second communication over a second set of resources based on a second TTI, where the second TTI is smaller than the first TTI, and where the second set of resources overlap the first set of resources defining a common set of resources, and determining whether to prioritize decoding of the first communication over the second communication.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of wireless communication, comprising:
allocating a first set of resources for transmitting a first communication according to a first transmission time interval (TTI); allocating a second set of resources for transmitting a second communication according to a second TTI, wherein the second TTI is smaller than the first TTI; transmitting a first resource grant corresponding to the first set of resources over a downlink control channel; and transmitting a second resource grant corresponding to the second set of resources over the downlink control channel.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising indicating resource unavailability related to the first set of resources to a user equipment.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein allocating the second set of resources comprises allocating the second set of resources to partially overlap the first set of resources based at least in part on at least one of a modulation and coding scheme, a resource allocation size, or a number of layers of one or more channels corresponding to the first set of resources.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising indicating, to a user equipment, whether to rate match around demodulation reference signals in the first set of resources based at least in part on determining whether the second set of resources overlap the first set of resources.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein allocating the second set of resources comprises allocating the second set of resources to avoid overlapping the first set of resources in a portion of the first set of resources corresponding to demodulation reference signal transmission.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting the first communication according to the first resource grant, wherein the second set of resources are allocated during the first communication transmission.
7 . An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
a first resource allocating component configured to allocate a first set of resources for transmitting a first communication according to a first transmission time interval (TTI); a second resource allocating component configured to allocate a second set of resources for transmitting a second communication according to a second TTI, wherein the second TTI is smaller than the first TTI; and a communicating component configured to:
transmit a first resource grant corresponding to the first set of resources over a downlink control channel, and
transmit a second resource grant corresponding to the second set of resources over the downlink control channel.
8 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the communicating component is configured to indicate resource unavailability related to the first set of resources to a user equipment.
9 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the second resource allocating component is further configured to allocate the second set of resources to partially overlap with the first set of resources based at least in part on at least one of a modulation and coding scheme, a resource allocation size, or a number of layers of one or more channels corresponding to the first set of resources.
10 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the communicating component configured to indicate, to a user equipment, whether to rate match around demodulation reference signals in the first set of resources based at least in part on a determination of whether the second set of resources overlap the first set of resources.
11 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the second resource allocating component is further configured to allocate the second set of resources to avoid overlapping the first set of resources in a portion of the first set of resources corresponding to demodulation reference signal transmission.
12 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the communicating component is configured to transmit the first communication according to the first resource grant, wherein the second set of resources are allocated during the first communication transmission.
13 . An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
means for allocating a first set of resources for transmitting a first communication according to a first transmission time interval (TTI); means for allocating a second set of resources for transmitting a second communication according to a second TTI, wherein the second TTI is smaller than the first TTI; and means for transmitting a first resource grant corresponding to the first set of resources over a downlink control channel; and means for transmitting a second resource grant corresponding to the second set of resources over the downlink control channel.
14 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the means for transmitting are further configured to indicate resource unavailability related to the first set of resources to a user equipment.
15 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein allocating the second set of resources comprises allocating the second set of resources to partially overlap the first set of resources based at least in part on at least one of a modulation and coding scheme, a resource allocation size, or a number of layers of one or more channels corresponding to the first set of resources.
16 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the means for allocating a second set of resources are further configured to indicate, to a user equipment, whether to rate match around demodulation reference signals in the first set of resources based at least in part on determining whether the second set of resources overlap the first set of resources.
17 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein means for allocating a second set of resources are further configured to the second set of resources to avoid overlapping the first set of resources in a portion of the first set of resources corresponding to demodulation reference signal transmission.
18 . The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the means for transmitting are further configured to transmit the first communication according to the first resource grant, wherein the second set of resources are allocated during the first communication transmission.
19 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer executable code for wireless communication, comprising:
code executable to allocate a first set of resources for transmitting a first communication according to a first transmission time interval (TTI); code executable to allocate a second set of resources for transmitting a second communication according to a second TTI, wherein the second TTI is smaller than the first TTI; code executable to transmit a first resource grant corresponding to the first set of resources over a downlink control channel; and code executable to transmit a second resource grant corresponding to the second set of resources over the downlink control channel.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer executable code for wireless communication of claim 19 , further comprising code executable to indicate resource unavailability related to the first set of resources to a user equipment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
