Abstract
An electric vacuum cleaner and an electric vacuum cleaning apparatus that can accumulate dust intensively near its waste lid and can readily discharge the accumulated dust. An electric vacuum cleaner includes: a first separator that separates dust from dust-containing air; a coarse-dust collecting chamber that accumulates the dust separated with the first separator; a coarse-dust waste-outlet that discharges the dust from the coarse-dust collecting chamber; a recess part provided within the coarse-dust collecting chamber, communicates with the coarse-dust waste-outlet, and accumulates dust inside the coarse-dust collecting chamber; and a waste-outlet lid that is part of a wall of the recess part and opens and closes the coarse-dust waste-outlet.

a separator that separates dust from dust-containing air; a dust collecting chamber that accumulates dust separated with the separator; a waste outlet that discharges dust from the dust collecting chamber; a recess part that is provided within the dust collecting chamber, communicates with the waste outlet, and accumulates dust inside the dust collecting chamber; and a waste-outlet lid that is part of a wall of the recess part, and opens and closes the waste outlet.
2 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a dust collecting chamber outlet provided on the wall of the recess part; and a filter provided on the dust collecting chamber outlet.
3 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 , further comprising a dust guiding face that lead dust from an inlet of the dust collecting chamber to the recess part.
4 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 3 , wherein the dust collecting chamber has non-opening wall surfaces in both side portions of the recess part as viewed from a direction of dust flow from the dust guiding face to the recess part.
5 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a second dust-collecting-chamber outlet that is provided on the wall of the dust collecting chamber, and is spaced apart from the recess part; and a second filter provided on the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet.
6 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 5 , wherein the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet includes a plurality of openings arranged in a wider range than the recess part in a width direction of the wall of the dust collecting chamber.
7 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 5 , further comprising a second separator that separates dust from air flowing out of the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet.
8 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 7 , further comprising:
a second dust collecting chamber that accumulates dust separated with the second separator; and a second waste outlet that discharges dust from the second dust collecting chamber, wherein the waste-outlet lid opens and closes both of the waste outlet and the second waste outlet together.
9 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a cleaner body that includes the separator, the dust collecting chamber, and the waste-outlet lid; and a pair of wheels that are provided on a lateral face of the cleaner body, cover and hide a back face of the cleaner body when viewed from a rotation centerline direction of the pair of wheels, and support the cleaner body in a movable manner whichever direction around the rotation centerline the cleaner body is laid down.
10 . An electric vacuum cleaning apparatus comprising a station and the electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 connectable to and disconnectable from the station, wherein the station comprises:
a secondary dust container that accumulates dust to be discharged from the electric vacuum cleaner; and
an electric blower that applies negative pressure to the electric vacuum cleaner through the secondary dust container and transfer dust from the electric vacuum cleaner to the secondary dust container.
11 . The electric vacuum cleaning apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the waste outlet of the electric vacuum cleaner opens downward when the electric vacuum cleaner is connected to the station.
12 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 2 , further comprising a dust guiding face that lead dust from an inlet of the dust collecting chamber to the recess part
13 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 2 , further comprising:
a second dust-collecting-chamber outlet that is provided on the wall of the dust collecting chamber, and is spaced apart from the recess part; and a second filter provided on the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet.
14 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 3 , further comprising:
a second dust-collecting-chamber outlet that is provided on the wall of the dust collecting chamber, and is spaced apart from the recess part; and a second filter provided on the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet.
15 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 4 , further comprising:
a second dust-collecting-chamber outlet that is provided on the wall of the dust collecting chamber, and is spaced apart from the recess part; and a second filter provided on the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet.
16 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 13 , wherein the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet includes a plurality of openings arranged in a wider range than the recess part in a width direction of the wall of the dust collecting chamber.
17 . The electric vacuum cleaner according to claim 14 , wherein the second dust-collecting-chamber outlet includes a plurality of openings arranged in a wider range than the recess part in a width direction of the wall of the dust collecting chamber.
