Abstract
Methods, systems and computer program products automatically back-up data. Communication is established among a first device, a second device, and a network-based storage device. Key words associated with uniform resource locators are identified and stored in the network-based storage device. When corruption is detected of the data stored in the first device, the key words are automatically retrieved from the network-based storage device and listed in a user interface displayed at the second device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system, comprising:
a hardware processor; and a memory device, the memory device storing executable instructions, the executable instructions when executed by the hardware processor facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising: receiving a uniform resource locator sent from a device requesting a data backup service; retrieving an electronic content via the uniform resource locator sent from the device requesting the data backup service; identifying different devices in network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; transferring portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator to the different devices in the network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; and sending a user interface to the device requesting the data backup service, the user interface listing the portions of the electronic content transferred to the different devices.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise receiving a metadata associated with the uniform resource locator sent from the device requesting the data backup service.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise determining a shared usage between different users of the device requesting the data backup service.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the operations further comprise logging the transferring of the portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator according to the shared usage between the different users of the device.
5 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the operations further comprise separately transferring the portions of the electronic content accessed by each user of the different users of the device.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise storing a restoration copy of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise identifying a logical rule that specifies the uniform resource locator for the data backup service.
8 . A method, comprising:
receiving, by a server, a request from a device requesting a data backup service, the request specifying a uniform resource locator; retrieving, by the server, an electronic content via the uniform resource locator specified by the request for the data backup service; identifying, by the server, different devices in network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; transferring, by the server, portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator to the different devices in the network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; and sending, by the server, a transfer log to the device requesting the data backup service, the transfer log listing the portions of the electronic content transferred to the different devices.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising receiving a metadata associated with the uniform resource locator sent from the device requesting the data backup service.
10 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising determining a shared usage between different users of the device requesting the data backup service.
11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising logging the transferring of the portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator according to the shared usage between the different users of the device.
12 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising separately transferring the portions of the electronic content accessed by each user of the different users of the device.
13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising storing a restoration copy of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator.
14 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising identifying a logical rule that specifies the uniform resource locator for the data backup service.
15 . A hardware memory device storing code that when executed by a hardware processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
receiving a uniform resource locator sent from a device requesting a data backup service; retrieving an electronic content via the uniform resource locator sent from the device requesting the data backup service; identifying different devices in network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; transferring portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator to the different devices in the network proximity to the device requesting the data backup service; and sending a user interface to the device requesting the data backup service, the user interface listing the portions of the electronic content transferred to the different devices.
16 . The hardware memory device of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise receiving a metadata associated with the uniform resource locator sent from the device requesting the data backup service.
17 . The hardware memory device of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise determining a shared usage between different users of the device requesting the data backup service.
18 . The hardware memory device of claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprise logging the transferring of the portions of the electronic content retrieved via the uniform resource locator according to the shared usage between the different users of the device.
19 . The hardware memory device of claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprise separately transferring the portions of the electronic content accessed by each user of the different users of the device.
20 . The hardware memory device of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise identifying a logical rule that specifies the uniform resource locator for the data backup service.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
