Abstract
A head mounted display (HMD) device including a display configured to display an image; a communication processor configured to communicate with a massage chair; a sensor configured to acquire data about a gaze direction of a user wearing the HMD device; and a controller configured to select a massage part of the massage chair among a plurality of massage parts based on the gaze direction of the user, and transmit a control command to the massage chair for controlling the massage chair to massage the selected massage part.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A head mounted display (HMD) device comprising:
a display configured to display an image; a communication processor configured to communicate with a massage chair; a sensor configured to acquire data about eye blinks of a user wearing the HMD device; and a controller configured to: acquire information about the number of the user's eye blinks, and transmit a control command for increasing a massage strength or a control command for reducing the massage strength to the massage chair, based on the information about the number of the user's eye blinks.
2 . The HMD device according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
when the number of the user's eye blinks is a first number, transmit the control command for increasing the massage strength to the massage chair, and when the number of the user's eye blinks is a second number, transmit the control command for reducing the massage strength to the massage chair.
3 . The HMD device according to claim 2 , wherein the sensor is further configured to acquire data about a gaze direction of the user wearing the HMD device,
wherein the controller is further configured to: select a massage part of the user to be massaged among a plurality of massage parts based on the gaze direction of the user, when the number of the user's eye blinks is the first number, transmit the control command for increasing the massage strength of the selected massage part to the massage chair, and when the number of the user's eye blinks is the second number, transmit the control command for reducing the massage strength of the selected massage part to the massage chair.
4 . The HMD device according to claim 3 , wherein the controller is further configured to display a human body image including a plurality of regions respectively corresponding to the plurality of massage parts of the massage chair, and
wherein the selected massage part corresponds to a specific region of the human body image located in the gaze direction of the user.
5 . The HMD device according to claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
acquire the information about the number of the user's eye blinks when the specific region is located in the gaze direction of the user.
6 . The HMD device according to claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
display a pointer corresponding to the gaze direction of the user, when the gaze direction of the user is moved, move the pointer in a moving direction of the gaze direction of the user, and when the pointer is located in the specific region among the plurality of regions, select the massage part corresponding to the specific region.
7 . The HMD device according to claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
display the specific region corresponding to the selected massage part so as to be identifiable.
8 . The HMD device according to claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
display a virtual reality image and an icon for entering a control mode for controlling the massage chair, and stop displaying the virtual reality image when the icon is located in the gaze direction of the user, and display the human body image.
9 . A massage chair control system comprising:
a massage chair configured to perform a massage; and a head mounted display (HMD) device configured to acquire information about the number of eye blinks of a user wearing the HMD device, transmit a control command for increasing a massage strength or a control command for reducing the massage strength to the massage chair, based on the information about the number of the user's eye blinks.
10 . The massage chair control system according to claim 9 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
when the number of the user's eye blinks is a first number, transmit the control command for increasing the massage strength to the massage chair, and when the number of the user's eye blinks is a second number, transmit the control command for reducing the massage strength to the massage chair.
11 . The massage chair control system according to claim 10 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
select a massage part of the user to be massaged among a plurality of massage parts based on a gaze direction of the user wearing the HMD device, when the number of the user's eye blinks is the first number, transmit the control command for increasing the massage strength of the selected massage part to the massage chair, and when the number of the user's eye blinks is the second number, transmit the control command for reducing the massage strength of the selected massage part to the massage chair.
12 . The massage chair control system according to claim 11 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to display a human body image including a plurality of regions respectively corresponding to the plurality of massage parts of the massage chair, and
wherein the selected massage part corresponds to a specific region of the human body image located in the gaze direction of the user.
13 . The massage chair control system according to claim 12 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
acquire the information about the number of the user's eye blinks when the specific region is located in the gaze direction of the user.
14 . The massage chair control system according to claim 12 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
display a pointer corresponding to the gaze direction of the user, when the gaze direction of the user is moved, move the pointer in a moving direction of the gaze direction of the user, and when the pointer is located in the specific region among the plurality of regions, select the massage part corresponding to the specific region.
15 . The massage chair control system according to claim 12 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
display the specific region corresponding to the selected massage part so as to be identifiable.
16 . The massage chair control system according to claim 12 , wherein the head mounted display (HMD) device is further configured to:
display a virtual reality image and an icon for entering a control mode for controlling the massage chair, and stop displaying the virtual reality image when the icon is located in the gaze direction of the user, and display the human body image.
17 . The massage chair control system according to claim 11 , wherein the massage chair is further configured to:
