. The method of claim 11 , wherein the disease is vasculitis.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the vasculitis is chosen from Henoch-Schönlein purpura or polyarteritis nodosa.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the disease is myositis.

. The method of claim 14 , wherein the myositis is chosen from polymyositis and dermatomyositis.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is fever.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is headache.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is pain.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is inflammation.

. The method of claim 19 , wherein the inflammation is in the lungs of the patient.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is hypertension.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom is heart disease.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the patient is an adult human.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the therapeutically effective amount of the compound is adjusted for the age of the patient.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the disease is dermatomyositis, and the therapeutically effective amount of the compound is adjusted for the age of the patient.

. The method of claim 25 , wherein the symptom is one or more chosen from fever, headache, pain, inflammation, hypertension, and heart disease.
