Abstract

A hair straightener comprising a first and second clamping plate parts is disclosed. One end of the first clamping plate part is articulated with one end of the second clamping plate part. A first housing is arranged at an outer side of the first clamping plate part and a second housing is arranged at an outer side of the second clamping plate part. A thermal insulation space is provided between the first clamping plate part and the first housing as well as between the second clamping plate part and the second housing. Housings are additionally arranged for contacting the hand of the user to facilitate holding, and are incompletely or indirectly contacted with the clamping plate parts, so that the heat conductivity is effectively reduced. The thermal insulation space further hinders the heat transmission and keeps the surface temperature of the housing maintaining in a comfortable range at all times.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1 . A hair straightener comprising a first clamping plate part and a second clamping plate part, wherein one end of the first clamping plate part is articulated with one end of the second clamping plate part, wherein a first housing is arranged at an outer side of the first clamping plate part and a second housing is arranged at an outer side of the second clamping plate part, wherein a thermal insulation space is provided between the first clamping plate part and the first housing as well as between the second clamping plate part and the second housing.

2 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein the thermal insulation space has an opening at one side.

3 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein the thermal insulation space is an air-convective thermal insulation space.

4 . The hair straightener according to claim 3 , wherein the thermal insulation space has openings at both sides.

5 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein the thermal insulation space is filled with thermal insulation materials.

6 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein the first housing and the second housing both have an arched shape protruding outwardly.

7 . The hair straightener according to claim 6 , wherein outwardly protruding tips of the first housing and the second housing are respectively located at a middle of the first housing and the second housing to form the thermal insulation space.

8 . The hair straightener according to claim 7 , wherein the first housing and the second housing are both elastic housings.

9 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein a preset angle is arranged between the first clamping plate part and the second clamping plate part.

10 . The hair straightener according to claim 9 , wherein the preset angle is between 20 and 60 degrees.

11 . The hair straightener according to claim 9 , wherein further comprises an articulated connection component via which the first clamping plate part and the second clamping plate part are articulated; wherein the articulated connection component is arranged at a location having a preset interval distance from tail ends of the first clamping plate part and the second clamping plate part; wherein the articulated connection component comprises an articulated element arranged on the first clamping plate part, an articulated seat arranged on the second clamping plate part, and an articulated bolt for connecting the articulated element and the articulated seat.

12 . The hair straightener according to claim 11 , wherein the articulated connection component further comprises an elastic element for restoring the preset angle.

13 . The hair straightener according to claim 1 , wherein the first housing and the second housing are provided with patterns for identifying a hand-held position.
