Also provided herein are methods for improving athletic performance, improving cardiovascular health, and aiding in immune response and methods of improving athletic performance, improving bone health, preventing fatigue, reducing recovery time after exercise, countering oxidative stress, and/or boosting energy.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A chewable tablet, comprising:
quercetin; bilberry extract; green tea leaf extract; and one or more of vitamin C, caffeine, or omega 3 fatty acids.
. A chewable tablet, comprising:
vitamin C; wild bilberry fruit extract; green tea leaf extract; quercetin aglycone; caffeine; and omega 3 fatty acids.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein vitamin C is present as ascorbyl palmitate.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein vitamin C is present in an amount of about 100 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the wild bilberry fruit extract comprises about 25% total anthocyanins.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the green tea leaf extract comprises about 50% epigallocatechin 3-gallate (EGCG).
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the omega 3 fatty acids comprise n3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n3-PUFA).
. The chewable tablet of claim 7 , wherein the n3-PUFA is present in an amount of about 60 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 7 , wherein the n3-PUFA comprises docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid.
. The chewable tablet of claim 9 , wherein the docosahexaenoic acid is present in an amount of about 24 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 9 , wherein the eicosapentaenoic acid is present in an amount of about 36 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the caffeine is present in an amount of about 107 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the composition comprises about 329 mg of total flavonoids in aglycone form.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , further comprises one or more of sugar, natural and artificial flavors, cellulose gum, sucralose, bamboo whole plant extract, guar gum, xanthan gum, citric acid, malic acid, or L-tartaric acid.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein vitamin C is present in an amount of about 100 mg, the omega 3 fatty acids are present in an amount of about 60 mg, the caffeine is present in an amount of about 107 mg, and total flavonoids are present in an amount of about 329 mg.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the chewable tablet is administered to a subject at a dose of two tablets twice daily.
. The chewable tablet of claim 2 , wherein the chewable tablet is administered to a subject prior to a meal.
. A method of improving flavonoid bioavailability and bioactivity in a subject, comprising administering the chewable tablet of claim 2 to the subject, wherein the total flavonoid intake is increased.
. A method of increasing gut-derived phenolics in a subject, comprising administering the chewable tablet of claim 2 to the subject.
. The method of claim 19 , wherein the increased gut-derived phenolics are one or more of 1,2,3-benzenetriol sulfate, 3-methoxycatechol sulfate, 3-(3-hydroxyphenyl)propanoic acid sulfate, 3-hydroxyhippurate, or 4-methylcatechol sulfate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
