Adhesive Anchor

Abstract

Disclosed are example aspects of a method, process and machine to anchor objects to a surface using an encapsulated compound such as adhesive, expanding glue, hardening agent or other reactive and/or bonding substance intended for single use in a single anchor installation. A method of using an anchor with an encapsulated substance can comprise the steps of encapsulating a substance within an anchor and releasing the encapsulated substance through the insertion of a fastener into the anchor.

That which is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method of using an anchor with an encapsulated substance comprising the steps of:
 encapsulating a substance within an anchor; and   releasing the encapsulated substance through the insertion of a fastener into the anchor.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the encapsulated substance is an expanding adhesive. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the encapsulated substance further comprises polyurethane. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the fastener is a screw. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the encapsulated substance is held within a capsule. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the anchor is a sleeve anchor.
