Structural cross frame connector and system
Abstract
A structural cross frame connector is described having a multipurpose system of attachment. The device has two main forms one with a vertical offset and one without this vertical offset. The central portion has an arch by which weight is distributed accordingly. The connectors have a group of pass through holes whereby a pass through rod is attached thereto using fasteners. Various structural members can be attached to the pass through rod using pass right and left pass through cavities typically used as structural support members and a central pass through cavity typically used as a hitching station. Leaf springs are also mountable on pass through rods and freely operate on another connector right and left pass through cavity for use as a suspension system.

19 . A towable connection system comprising:
a first connector attached to a second connector having a first and a second spring attached thereto such that the first spring floats freely in a first cavity and the second spring floats freely in a second cavity in the first connector and such that the first and second springs are mounted on the second connector using a pass through rod attached to and inserted therein.
20 . A towable connection system comprising:
a first connector attached to a second connector having a first and second attachments each having a first end and a second end attached to the first and second connectors such that the first and second attachments are placed one end thereof each within
a first and a second cavity in the first connector and in similar third and fourth cavities in the second connector such that the first and second attachments are mounted on the first and second connectors using
a first pass through rod inserted within the first connector and within the first and second attachments and the second pass through rod inserted within the second connector and within the first and second attachments.
21 . The towable connection system of claim 19 , wherein the first spring comprises a first leaf spring.
22 . The towable connection system of claim 21 , wherein the second spring comprises a second leaf spring.
23 . The towable connection system of claim 19 , further comprising:
a first member attached to a first top surface of the second connector; and a second member attached to a second top surface of the second connector.
24 . The towable connection system of claim 23 , wherein the first member and the second member are attached using a first and second L shaped connectors respectively.
25 . The towable connection system of claim 19 , wherein the pass through rod enters a first perforation in a first side of the second connector and passes through a first pass through cavity.
26 . The towable connection system of claim 25 , wherein the pass through rod passes through a second pass through cavity and exits through a second perforation on a second side of the second connector.
27 . The towable connection system of claim 19 , wherein there are a first, second and middle pass through cavities close to a first end, second end and middle of the second connector.
28 . The towable connection system of claim 27 wherein a hitch is attached to the pass through rod at the middle pass through cavity.
29 . The towable connection system of claim 20 , wherein the first attachment is from a group of attachments of: a spring, a leaf spring, a beam, and a bunk member.
30 . The towable connection system of claim 29 , wherein the second attachment is from a group of attachments of: a spring, a leaf spring, a beam, and a bunk member.
31 . The towable connection system of claim 20 , further comprising:
a first member attached to a first top surface of the second connector.
32 . The towable connection system of claim 31 , further comprising:
a second member attached to a second top surface of the second connector.
33 . The towable connection system of claim 31 , wherein the first member is attached using a first and second L shaped connectors.
34 . The towable connection system of claim 32 , wherein the second member is attached using a first and second L shaped connectors.
35 . The towable connection system of claim 20 , wherein the pass through rod enters a first perforation in a first side of the second connector and passes through a first pass through cavity.
36 . The towable connection system of claim 35 , wherein the pass through rod passes through a second pass through cavity and exits through a second perforation on a second side of the second connector.
37 . The towable connection system of claim 20 , wherein there are a first, second and middle pass through cavities close to a first end, second end and middle of the second connector.
38 . The towable connection system of claim 37 wherein a hitch is attached to the pass through rod at the middle pass through cavity.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
