Abstract

A vehicle seat includes a pressure-receiving member disposed rearwardly of an occupant between left and right side frames, and a rocking mechanism configured to cause a left side or a right side of the pressure-receiving member to move frontward and rearward. The rocking mechanism includes a first link member provided pivotally, a second link member provided pivotally on the first link member and pivotally connected to the pressure-receiving member, and an actuator configured to cause the first link member and the second link member to pivot.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 24 . (canceled)

25 . A vehicle seat with a seat cushion and a seat back:
a padded body; left and right side frames incorporated in the padded body; and a pressure-receiving member disposed to support an occupant between the left and right side frames, wherein the pressure-receiving member includes a pressure-receiving plate and a connecting wire configured to support the pressure-receiving plate, wherein the pressure-receiving plate comprises a plurality of elongate projections including a longitudinal projection extending along a longitudinal direction of the left and right side frames, and a transverse projection extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction, and wherein the connecting wire is so located as to overlap the transverse projection as viewed from an occupant side that is a side on which an occupant is to be seated.

26 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the padded body has an occupant-side surface which faces on the occupant side, the pressure-receiving plate being located behind the occupant-side surface of the padded body and the connecting wire is located behind the pressure-receiving plate.

27 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the connecting wire is held in contact with the pressure-receiving plate at the transverse projection.

28 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the connecting wire is attached to the transverse projection.

29 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the pressure-receiving plate includes an engageable portion which is formed on the transverse projection, and with which the connecting wire is engageable.

30 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the plurality of elongate projections include at least one further transverse projection extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction, the connecting wire being so located as to overlap the further transverse projection as viewed from the occupant side.

31 . The vehicle seat according to claim 30 , wherein the transverse projection and the further transverse projection are arranged side by side, the transverse projection is located closer to the left side frame and the further transverse projection is locate closer to the right side frame.

32 . The vehicle seat according to claim 25 , wherein the plurality of elongate projections include one or more further transverse projections each extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction, and one or more further longitudinal projections each extending along the longitudinal direction,
wherein the further transverse projections include a first transverse projection connected to two or more of the further longitudinal projections, and the further longitudinal projections include a first longitudinal projection connected to two or more of the further transverse projections.

         33 . A vehicle seat comprising:
a frame including left and right side frames; and a pressure-receiving member disposed to support an occupant between the left and right side frames, wherein the pressure-receiving member includes:
 a pressure-receiving plate; and
a connecting wire connected to the frame, and configured to support the pressure-receiving plate,
wherein the pressure-receiving plate comprises a plurality of elongate projections including a first projection extending along a direction of extension of the connecting wire, and a second projection extending in a direction transverse to a direction of extension of the first projection, the first projection and the second projection being connected to each other, wherein the connecting wire is so disposed as to overlap the first projection and the second projection as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the pressure-receiving plate.

34 . The vehicle seat according to claim 33 , wherein the plurality of elongate projections further comprise at least one further first projection extending along the direction of extension of the connecting wire, the first projection and the at least one further first projection are arranged side by side and connected to the second projection.
