Abstract

The disclosure involves wireless communication device and method. The device includes a communication unit configured to perform a first feedback operation corresponding to a first feedback configuration and to perform a second feedback operation based on a second feedback configuration. The first and second feedback configurations each include a selection for sub-table of a CQI table, and the second feedback configuration is determined based on result of the first feedback operation.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An electronic device, comprising circuitry configured to:
determine a window in a table including parameters indicating channel quality; transmit information indicating the determined window to a network; and transmit an index of a parameter in the determined window to the network for reporting a channel quality to the network.

2 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive window configuration information of the table and determine the window based on the window configuration information.

3 . The electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the window configuration information comprises information indicating an initial window.

4 . The electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the window configuration information comprises information indicating a window size.

5 . The electronic device according to claim 3 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to transmit an offset information between the determined window and the initial window for indicating the determined window to the network.

6 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the parameters comprise Channel Quality Indicator.

7 . The electronic device according to claim 3 , wherein the initial window is determined by the network according to a communication scenario.

8 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is implemented as a user equipment, and further comprises circuitry configured as a radio communication interface to transmit the information and the index to the network.

9 . An electronic device, comprising circuitry configured to:
receive information indicating a window in a table including parameters indicating channel quality from a user equipment; receive an index of a parameter in the window; and determine a channel quality experienced by the user equipment based on the information indicating the window and the index.

10 . The electronic device according to claim 9 wherein the circuitry is further configured to transmit configuration information of the table for the user equipment determining the window based on the window configuration information.

11 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein the window configuration information comprises information indicating an initial window.

12 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein the window configuration information comprises information indicating a window size.

13 . The electronic device according to claim 11 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive an offset information between the window and the initial window.

14 . The electronic device according to claim 9 , wherein the parameters comprise Channel Quality Indicator.

15 . The electronic device according to claim 11 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine the initial window according to a communication scenario.

16 . The electronic device according to claim 9 , wherein the electronic device is implemented as a base station, and further comprises circuitry configured as a radio communication interface to receive the information and the index.

17 . A method, implemented in circuitry of an electronic device, comprising:
determining, by the circuitry, a window in a table including parameters indicating channel quality; transmitting, by the circuitry, information indicating the determined window to a network; and transmitting, by the circuitry, an index of a parameter in the determined window to the network for reporting a channel quality to the network.

18 . The method according to claim 17 , further comprising:
receiving, by the circuitry, window configuration information of the table; and determining, by the circuitry, the window based on the window configuration information.

19 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing executable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
determining a window in a table including parameters indicating channel quality; transmitting information indicating the determined window to a network; and transmitting an index of a parameter in the determined window to the network for reporting a channel quality to the network.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , further storing executable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to further perform operations comprising:
receiving window configuration information of the table; and determining the window based on the window configuration information.
