Hiking shoes with anti-slip spikes
Abstract
A hiking shoe includes a vamp connected to an outsole. Multiple anti-blocks are formed on the underside and multiple spikes are respectively embedded in the anti-slip blocks that are located between the rear section and the front section of the underside of the outsole. Each spike has an end face that is formed on the first end thereof, and the end face is in flush with the distal end of the anti-slip block corresponding thereto. The second end of each spike is located within the anti-slip block corresponding thereto. The end face of each spike has multiple grooves defined therein so as to provide better anti-slip feature when walking on a wet path with pebbles.

1 . A hiking shoe comprising:
a vamp and an outsole, the vamp located above a top of the outsole and connected along a periphery of the outsole, the vamp including an opening and a trim portion, the trim portion located along a portion of the opening, the opening configured to accept insertion of wearer's foot, the outsole having an underside, multiple anti-blocks formed on the underside and located at a distance from each other, the underside including a rear section and a front section, and multiple spikes respectively embedded in the anti-slip blocks that are located between the rear section and the front section, each spike having an end face that is formed on a first end thereof, the end face being in flush with a distal end of the anti-slip block corresponding thereto, a second end of each spike located within the anti-slip block corresponding thereto, the end face of each spike having multiple grooves defined therein.

The hiking shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the front section of the underside of the outsole includes a first area and a second area, a bending line is defined between the first and second areas, the benign line is formed when a heel of the shoe lifts up, the anti-slip blocks that are located on the bending line each have one of the spikes.

The hiking shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the spikes includes a head and a shank, the outsole includes recesses which are located corresponding to the spikes, the recesses are defined through the outsole and the anti-slip blocks corresponding thereto, each recess includes a large-diameter area and a small-diameter area, the small-diameter area is located in the anti-slip block corresponding thereto, the large-diameter area is defined in the outsole, the head of the spike is engaged with the large-diameter area corresponding thereto, the shank of the spike is located in the small-diameter area corresponding thereto so as to prevent the spike from dropping off from the recess.

The hiking shoe as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the each of the spikes includes a head and a shank, the outsole includes recesses which are located corresponding to the spikes, the recesses are defined through the outsole and the anti-slip blocks corresponding thereto, each recess includes a large-diameter area and a small-diameter area, the small-diameter area is located in the anti-slip block corresponding thereto, the large-diameter area is defined in the outsole, the head of the spike is engaged with the large-diameter area corresponding thereto, the shank of the spike is located in the small-diameter area corresponding thereto so as to prevent the spike from dropping off from the recess.

The hiking shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rear section of the underside of the outsole includes a third area and a fourth area, a separation line is defined between the third and fourth areas, the spikes that are located in the rear section are located close to the separation line, the fourth area has no spike located therein.
6 . The hiking shoe as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the third area includes a flat section and a curve section, one of the anti-slip blocks in the curve section has one of the spikes connected thereto, the spikes that are located in the flat section and the spike that is located in the curve section are located at three points of an imaginary triangle.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
