Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for creating communications to effectuate a purchase using an electronic wallet application, the electronic wallet application stored and executed on a mobile computing device, the system comprising:
a processor of a transaction server; a memory in communication with the processor of the transaction server, the memory storing instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, cause the processor of the transaction server to:
receive data from a merchant consisting of: a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and a mobile wallet account of the electronic wallet application, an indicator of an item selected for purchase, and a merchant identifier; and
in response to the data from the merchant, send a response message including a URL to an electronic wallet application, the URL including payment details, wherein payment details include an identification for the electronic wallet application;
wherein selection of the URL redirects a browser of the mobile computing device to open the electronic wallet application based on the URL of the response message and populates the electronic wallet application with the payment details of the URL.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, cause a processor of the mobile computing device to create a transaction in the electronic wallet application using the payment details of the response message.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, cause the processor of the transaction server to verify the electronic wallet application using the identification for the electronic wallet application.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server communicate data corresponding to the item selected for purchase and transaction details through an API to the merchant.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, cause a processor of the mobile computing device to:
receive a sign in to a payment application; verify authorization to use the payment application; in response to the authorization being verified, receive a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and communicate a test message to the mobile number wherein the test message comprises a URL; and in response to an acceptable message being received from the URL, store an indication that the mobile number is verified as being related to the electronic wallet application.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the identification for the electronic wallet application follows a pre-determined protocol.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the payment details are stored remotely and are accessed by the electronic wallet application upon selection of the URL.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the payment details include a payment token.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, send the payment token with the payment details to the electronic wallet application.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the memory stores further instructions, that when executed by the processor of the transaction server, communicate the payment token from the electronic wallet application to the merchant.
11 . A processor-implemented method for creating communications to effectuate a purchase using an electronic wallet application, the electronic wallet application stored and executed on a mobile computing device, the method comprising:
receiving data from a merchant consisting of: a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and a mobile wallet account of the electronic wallet application, an indicator of an item selected for purchase, and a merchant identifier; in response to the data from the merchant, sending a response message including a URL to an electronic wallet application, the URL including payment details, wherein payment details include an identification for the electronic wallet application; redirecting a browser of the mobile computing device upon selection of the URL to open the electronic wallet application based on the URL of the response message; and populating the electronic wallet application with the payment details of the URL.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
creating a transaction in the electronic wallet application using the payment details of the response message; verifying the electronic wallet application using the identification for the electronic wallet application; and sending data corresponding to the item selected for purchase and transaction details through an API to the merchant.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
receiving a sign in to a payment application; verifying authorization to use the payment application; in response to the authorization being verified, receiving a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and communicate a test message to the mobile number wherein the test message comprises a URL; and in response to an acceptable message being received from the URL, storing an indication that the mobile number is verified as being related to the electronic wallet application.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sending a payment token with the payment details to the electronic wallet application, wherein the identification for the electronic wallet application follows a pre-determined protocol, the payment details are stored remotely and are accessed by the electronic wallet application upon selection of the URL, and the payment details include the payment token.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising communicating the payment token from the electronic wallet application to the merchant.
16 . A computer-readable medium including processor-executable instructions for creating communications to effectuate a purchase using an electronic wallet application, the electronic wallet application stored and executed on a mobile computing device, the processor-executable instructions comprising:
receiving data from a merchant consisting of: a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and a mobile wallet account of the electronic wallet application, an indicator of an item selected for purchase, and a merchant identifier; in response to the data from the merchant, sending a response message including a URL to an electronic wallet application, the URL including payment details, wherein payment details include an identification for the electronic wallet application; redirecting a browser of the mobile computing device upon selection of the URL to open the electronic wallet application based on the URL of the response message; and populating the electronic wallet application with the payment details of the URL.
17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions for:
creating a transaction in the electronic wallet application using the payment details of the response message; verifying the electronic wallet application using the identification for the electronic wallet application; and sending data corresponding to the item selected for purchase and transaction details through an API to the merchant.
18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions for:
receiving a sign in to a payment application; verifying authorization to use the payment application; in response to the authorization being verified, receiving a mobile number corresponding to the mobile computing device and communicate a test message to the mobile number wherein the test message comprises a URL; and in response to an acceptable message being received from the URL, storing an indication that the mobile number is verified as being related to the electronic wallet application.
19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions for sending a payment token with the payment details to the electronic wallet application, wherein the identification for the electronic wallet application follows a pre-determined protocol, the payment details are stored remotely and are accessed by the electronic wallet application upon selection of the URL, and the payment details include the payment token.
20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 19 , further comprising instructions for communicating the payment token from the electronic wallet application to the merchant.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
