Abstract

A booster seat assembly for securing a child in a barber chair includes a barber chair that has a seat and a backrest. A booster seat is positionable on the barber chair and a child may be seated on the booster seat for a haircut. A pair of belts is each coupled to the booster seat and the belts are matable to each other. Each of the belts is secured around the backrest on the barber chair when the booster seat is positioned on the barber chair. In this way the booster seat can be secured to the barber chair. A harness is coupled to the booster seat and the harness is secured over the child seated in the booster seat.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A booster seat assembly being positionable on a barber's chair wherein said assembly is configured to restrain a child getting a haircut, said assembly comprising:
 a barber chair having a seat and a backrest;   a booster seat being positionable on said barber chair wherein said booster seat is configured to have a child sit therein for a haircut;   a pair of belts, each of said belts being coupled to said booster seat, said belts being matable to each other, each of said belt being secured around said backrest on said barber chair when said booster seat is positioned on said barber chair to secure said booster seat to said barber chair; and   a harness being coupled to said booster seat wherein said harness is configured to be secured over a child seated in said booster seat.   
     
     
         2 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said booster seat has a backrest portion, said backrest portion having a top side and a back side; and   each of said belts extending away from said back side of said backrest portion of said booster seat, each of said belts having a distal end with respect to said booster seat, said distal end of each of said belts being matable to each other.   
     
     
         3 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said booster seat has a seat portion, a backrest portion and a pair of armrests, said seat portion having a top side and a front side; and   said harness includes a set of first straps, each of said first straps being coupled to said top side of said backrest portion of said booster seat, each of said first straps having a distal end with respect to said booster seat.   
     
     
         4 . The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein said harness includes a second strap being coupled to said top side of said seat portion of said booster seat, said second strap being positioned closer to said front side of said seat portion than said backrest portion, said second strap having a distal end with respect to said booster seat, said distal end of said second strap being matable to said distal end of each of said first straps. 
     
     
         5 . The assembly according to  claim 4 , wherein said harness includes a pair of lateral straps, each of said lateral straps being coupled between a respective one of said first straps and an intersection between said seat portion and a respective one of said armrests. 
     
     
         6 . A booster seat assembly being positionable on a barber's chair wherein said assembly is configured to restrain a child getting a haircut, said assembly comprising:
 a barber chair having a seat and a backrest;   a booster seat being positionable on said barber chair wherein said booster seat is configured to have a child sit therein for a haircut, said booster seat having a seat portion, a backrest portion and a pair of armrests, said backrest portion having a top side and a back side, said seat portion having a top side and a front side;   a pair of belts, each of said belts being coupled to said booster seat, said belts being matable to each other, each of said belt being secured around said backrest on said barber chair when said booster seat is positioned on said barber chair to secure said booster seat to said barber char, each of said belts extending away from said back side of said backrest portion of said booster seat, each of said belts having a distal end with respect to said booster seat, said distal end of each of said belts being matable to each other; and   a harness being coupled to said booster seat wherein said harness is configured to be secured over a child seated in said booster seat, said harness including:
 a set of first straps, each of said first straps being coupled to said top side of said backrest portion of said booster seat, each of said first straps having a distal end with respect to said booster seat; 
 a second strap being coupled to said top side of said seat portion of said booster seat, said second strap being positioned closer to said front side of said seat portion than said backrest portion, said second strap having a distal end with respect to said booster seat, said distal end of said second strap being matable to said distal end of each of said first straps, and 
 a pair of lateral straps, each of said lateral straps being coupled between a respective one of said first straps and an intersection between said seat portion and a respective one of said armrests.
