Mobile renewable energy structures providing wireless networking and associated systems and methods
Abstract
A system for providing access to a wireless communication network can include a plurality of renewable energy structures. Each renewable energy structure can include an electricity generation assembly, a telescoping support pole positioned to support the electricity generation assembly, and a wireless communication device configured to relay wireless communication signals between a host signal source and a client device. The electricity generation assembly can include a wind turbine assembly and/or a solar power structure. The wireless communication device can include a cellular telephone signal repeater and/or wireless internet equipment. Each structure can include a display, such as an advertisement, one or more benches, and/or a container. Each structure can optionally include a water purification system, one or more cameras, one or more lights, and/or one or more motion or voice sensors for activating or deactivating various components of the system. Each structure may be permanently installed or mobile.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A portable renewable energy structure comprising:
a wind turbine assembly for converting wind to electrical power; one or more solar panel structures for converting light to electrical power; a support pole supporting the wind turbine assembly and the one or more solar panel structures, the one or more solar panel structures being positioned beneath the wind turbine assembly; and a plurality of benches positioned beneath the one or more solar panel structures, the plurality of benches extending outwardly relative to the support pole.
2 . The structure of claim 1 , further comprising a battery operatively connected to the wind turbine assembly and the one or more solar panel structures, the battery being positioned within at least one of the benches.
3 . The structure of claim 1 , further comprising one or more support elements extending outwardly from the support pole, each of the one or more support elements supporting a solar panel structure of the one or more solar panel structures.
4 . The structure of claim 3 , further comprising one or more lights positioned on the support pole, on one or more of the benches, or on one or more of the support elements, the structure further comprising one or more electrical power access points configured to provide power to a device.
5 . The structure of claim 3 , comprising four support elements and four solar panel structures.
6 . The structure of claim 3 , wherein each of the support elements is shaped as a tree leaf.
7 . The structure of claim 1 , wherein at least one bench of the plurality of benches comprises a frame and one or more panels mounted to the frame.
8 . The structure of claim 1 , wherein each bench of the plurality of benches is perpendicular to another bench of the plurality of benches.
9 . The structure of claim 1 , further comprising a cover element positioned to cover a lower portion of the support pole.
10 . A portable renewable energy structure comprising:
a support pole; a wind turbine assembly attached to the support pole and configured to pivot about a longitudinal axis of the support pole; four support elements releasably mounted to the support pole beneath the wind turbine assembly; a plurality of solar panel structures, wherein each of the four support elements supports at least one of the solar panel structures; and a plurality of seating surfaces positioned beneath the support elements and extending away from the support pole, wherein a first seating surface extends away from the support pole along a first direction that is perpendicular to a second direction along which a second seating surface extends away from the support pole.
11 . The structure of claim 10 , further comprising a plurality of frames positioned to support the seating surfaces.
12 . The structure of claim 11 , wherein at least one of the frames is configured to contain a battery operatively connected to the wind turbine assembly or the plurality of solar panel structures.
13 . The structure of claim 10 , further comprising one or more lights mounted on the support pole or on one or more of the support elements.
14 . The structure of claim 10 , wherein the four support elements are leaf-shaped.
15 . A kit of parts for a renewable energy system, the kit comprising:
a support pole; a wind turbine configured to be attached to the support pole; a plurality of solar panel structures; a plurality of support elements configured to be attached to the support pole and configured to receive and support the solar panel structures; a plurality of frames; and a plurality of panels configured to be mounted to the frames; wherein the frames and panels are configured to form a first rectangular bench extending away from the support pole along a first direction and a second rectangular bench extending away from the support pole along a second direction that is transverse to the first direction.
16 . The kit of claim 15 , further comprising one or more sensors.
17 . The kit of claim 16 , further comprising one or more electrical power access points and one or more lights.
18 . The kit of claim 17 , further comprising a controller configured to manage power generated by the wind turbine or the solar panel structures, and further configured to manage power to the one or more lights and the one or more electrical power access points.
19 . The kit of claim 18 , further comprising a diagram of an electronics system for connecting the wind turbine, the solar panel structures, the controller, and a battery.
20 . The kit of claim 19 , further comprising the battery.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
