Abstract
The invention relates to a transmitting system, comprising an SNS client that receives SNS messages from at least one SNS server, and a transmitter which transmits a broadcast signal, including the SNS messages and mobile service data, for a mobile broadcast. The transmitter includes: an RS frame encoder, which performs RS encoding and CRC encoding on the mobile service data for the mobile broadcast so as to build RS frames, and divides each RS frame into a plurality of portions; a group-forming unit, which forms data groups that contain each of the plurality of portions, and which adds known data sequences and signaling data to each data group; an inter-leaver for interleaving data of the data groups; and a trellis encoding unit for trellis-encoding the interleaved data.

encoding service data in at least one data packet, wherein the at least one data packet includes a packet header and a packet payload, wherein the packet header includes stuff indication information for indicating whether stuffing data are included in the at least one data packet, and wherein the packet payload includes the service data for a service; block interleaving the encoded service data; convolutional interleaving the block interleaved service data; encoding transmission parameter data, wherein the transmission parameter data include encoding information of the service data; and transmitting a broadcast signal including the convolutional interleaved service data and the encoded transmission parameter data, wherein the broadcast signal further includes service information for a service acquisition, and wherein the service information includes service identification information for identifying the service, status indication information for indicating whether the service is hidden, and protection indication information for indicating whether one or more components needed for presentation of the service are protected.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmission parameter data further include information related to the service information.
3 . A transmitting system for processing broadcast data, the transmitting system comprising:
a first encoder to encode service data in at least one data packet, wherein the at least one data packet includes a packet header and a packet payload, wherein the packet header includes stuff indication information for indicating whether stuffing data are included in the at least one data packet, and wherein the packet payload includes the service data for a service; a first interleaver to block interleave the encoded service data; a second interleaver to convolutional interleave the block interleaved service data; a second encoder to encode transmission parameter data, wherein the transmission parameter data include encoding information of the service data; and a transmitter to transmit a broadcast signal including the convolutional interleaved service data and the encoded transmission parameter data, wherein the broadcast signal further includes service information for a service acquisition, and wherein the service information includes service identification information for identifying the service, status indication information for indicating whether the service is hidden, and protection indication information for indicating whether one or more components needed for presentation of the service are protected.
4 . The transmitting system of claim 3 , wherein the transmission parameter data further include information related to the service information.
5 . A method of processing broadcast data, the method comprising:
receiving a broadcast signal including service data for a service, transmission parameter data, and service information for a service acquisition; decoding the transmission parameter data, wherein the transmission parameter data include encoding information of the service data; decoding the service information, wherein the service information includes service identification information for identifying the service, status indication information for indicating whether the service is hidden, and protection indication information for indicating whether one or more components needed for presentation of this service are protected; and decoding the service data based on the encoding information and outputting at least one data packet that includes the decoded service data, wherein the at least one data packet includes a packet header and a packet payload, and wherein the packet header includes stuff indication information for indicating whether stuffing data are included in the at least one data packet.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the transmission parameter data further include information related to the service information.
7 . A receiving system for processing broadcast data, the receiving system comprising:
a tuner to receive a broadcast signal including service data for a service, transmission parameter data, and service information for a service acquisition; a signaling decoder to decode the transmission parameter data, wherein the transmission parameter data include encoding information of the service data; a first decoder to decode the service information, wherein the service information includes service identification information for identifying the service, status indication information for indicating whether the service is hidden, and protection indication information for indicating whether one or more components needed for presentation of this service are protected; and a second decoder to decode the service data based on the encoding information and output at least one data packet that includes the decoded service data, wherein the at least one data packet includes a packet header and a packet payload, and wherein the packet header includes stuff indication information for indicating whether stuffing data are included in the at least one data packet.
