Abstract

A system for providing full scale participant practice and instruction by at least one self-propelling drone including a control platform incorporating a first processor. A second processor is incorporated into the drone which is in operative communication with the control platform, the second processor receiving a stream of instructions for operating a powered drive chassis incorporated into the drone for traversing the drone upon a practice surface during a training iteration. The stream of instructions includes at least one algorithmic protocol for instructing the drive chassis to execute a progression of movements either mimicking or responding to physical movements of a physical participant engaged in the training iteration.

2 . The management system as described in claim 1 , further comprising said replay module additionally presenting planned versus actual movements of the physical participants.

3 . The management system as described in claim 1 , the drones each further comprising any of a game object delivery or reception mechanism for simulating positional player game object related functions.

4 . The management system as described in claim 1 , further comprising a recording device in communication with said control platform for recording movements of the physical players, as well as any game objects and drones, and for communicating to a replay component of said control platform data associated with each preceding training iteration for any of replay, display, comparison or analysis.

5 . The management system as described in claim 1 , further comprising said sensors responding to movements of the physical participants by issuing at least one input, said input feeding signals to said first processor of said control platform for communicating to a further processor device for adjusting a speed and direction of each drone in response to the movements of the physical participants through a conclusion of the training iteration.

6 . 7 . The management system as described in claim 6 , further comprising said participating player situated sensor being in communication, via said first processor, with a lighting element and sensor(s) incorporated into the practice surface, with additional sensors associated with any of a game device, object, ball or an opposing positional player.

8 . The management system as described in claim 1 , the drones each further comprising any of a movable and articulating throwing arm, extending arm, ball, object delivery or torso mechanism for simulating positional player functions.

9 . The management system as described in claim 1 , the control platform further comprising an exemplary play execution protocol associated with the management system and including at least one of a play builder module, a player management module, a play cataloger and management system, a play scripter/trainer, play and replay drone controller, and a play and player analytics module.
