Abstract

A metal-resin composite member for a tire, comprising plural metal cords that are positioned alongside each other, an adhesive layer that is disposed on the metal cords, and a resin layer that is disposed on the adhesive layer, the metal-resin composite member satisfying at least one of the following (1) or (2): (1) the adhesive layer is independently disposed on each of the plural metal cords, and at least one of the adhesive layers has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion; (2) the adhesive layer is integrally disposed on all of the plural metal cords, and a region consisting of the metal cords and the adhesive layer has a cross-sectional shape that has, between the metal cords, a portion that is narrower in width than a portion at which the metal cords are disposed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A metal-resin composite member for a tire, comprising plural metal cords that are positioned alongside each other, an adhesive layer that is disposed on the metal cords, and a resin layer that is disposed on the adhesive layer, the metal-resin composite member satisfying at least one of the following (1) or (2):
 (1) the adhesive layer is independently disposed on each of the plural metal cords, and when a cross-section of the metal-resin composite member is viewed perpendicularly to a length direction of the metal cords, at least one of the adhesive layers has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion that projects toward a metal cord that is adjacent to a metal cord on which the adhesive layer is disposed; (2) the adhesive layer is integrally disposed on all of the plural metal cords, and when a cross-section of the metal-resin composite member is viewed perpendicularly to a length direction of the metal cords, a region consisting of the metal cords and the adhesive layer has a cross-sectional shape that has, between the metal cords, a portion that is narrower in width than a portion at which the metal cords are disposed.

2 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the metal-resin composite member satisfies (1), and a region, consisting of the metal cord and the adhesive layer having the projecting portion, has a cross-sectional shape that has a portion that is narrower in width than a portion at which the metal cords are disposed.

3 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the metal-resin composite member satisfies (1), the metal cords include a metal cord A and a metal cord B that are adjacent to each other, an adhesive layer disposed on metal cord A has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion that projects toward metal cord B, and an adhesive layer disposed on metal cord B has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion that projects toward metal cord A.

4 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the metal-resin composite member satisfies (2), and the region consisting of the plural metal cords and the adhesive layer has a cross-sectional shape that has, between the metal cords, a portion that is narrower in width than a diameter of a section of the metal cords.

5 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the adhesive layer comprises a thermoplastic resin.

6 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the resin layer comprises a thermoplastic elastomer.

7 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the resin layer comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyamide thermoplastic elastomer (TPA) and a polyester thermoplastic elastomer (TPC).

8 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the resin layer comprises a polyamide thermoplastic elastomer (TPA), and the adhesive layer comprises an acid-modified polyolefin resin.

9 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 1 , wherein the resin layer comprises a polyester thermoplastic elastomer (TPC), and the adhesive layer comprises a modified polyester resin.

10 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 2 , wherein the metal-resin composite member satisfies (1), the metal cords include a metal cord A and a metal cord B that are adjacent to each other, an adhesive layer disposed on metal cord A has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion that projects toward metal cord B, and an adhesive layer disposed on metal cord B has a cross-sectional shape that has a projecting portion that projects toward metal cord A.

11 . The metal-resin composite member for a tire according to claim 2 , wherein the metal-resin composite member satisfies (2), and the region consisting of the plural metal cords and the adhesive layer has a cross-sectional shape that has, between the metal cords, a portion that is narrower in width than a diameter of a section of the metal cords.
