Abstract

The present invention relates to a salt form of a benzodiazepine derivative, in particular crystalline solid state forms, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same and to its use in therapy.

1 . A method of treating a disease or condition for which a bromodomain inhibitor is indicated in a human in need thereof comprising administering to the human a therapeutically effective amount of a benzene sulphonic acid salt of 2-[(4S)-6-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-8-(methyloxy)-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepin-4-yl]-N-ethylacetamide. 
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1  wherein the disease or condition is cancer. 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 1  wherein the disease or condition is leukemia, acute monocytic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mixed lineage leukemia, NUT-midline carcinoma, multiple myeloma, lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, neuroblastoma, Burkitt's lymphoma, cervical cancer, esophageal cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and colorectal cancer.
