Abstract

An information processing apparatus including a processing circuit configured to obtain activity recognition information which is determined on the basis of sensing information of a plurality of users, the activity recognition information indicating recognized activities of the plurality of users based on location information of the plurality of users, and generate information for displaying representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users in relation to a map by using specified criteria.

1 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 a processing circuit configured to
 obtain activity recognition information which is determined on the basis of sensing information of a plurality of users, the activity recognition information indicating recognized activities of the plurality of users based on location information of the plurality of users, and 
 generate information for displaying representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users in relation to a map by using specified criteria. 
   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users are displayed as visual information overlaid upon the map.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the visual information comprises a color map having respective colors designating respective recognized activities.   
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the criteria are automatically specified or manually specified by a user.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein the criteria are related to activities, days of the week, time periods, and/or user attributes.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 5 ,
 wherein the user attributes are related to an age, a gender, and/or an occupation.   
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the sensing information of the plurality of users comprises location information of the plurality of users.   
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 7 ,
 wherein the representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users are displayed in correspondence with relative locations on the map in accordance with the location information of the plurality of users.   
     
     
         9 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users are displayed as visual information overlaid upon the map.   
     
     
         10 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the visual information comprises a color map having respective colors designating respective recognized activities.   
     
     
         11 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the visual information comprises a pattern map having respective patterns designating respective recognized activities.   
     
     
         12 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the visual information comprises a contour map.   
     
     
         13 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the representations of the recognized activities are each individually selectable for display or non-display upon the map.   
     
     
         14 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the representations of the recognized activities are selected for display based on a selection of one or more time ranges for display.   
     
     
         15 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the sensing information of the plurality of users is provided from the plurality of users as action logs.   
     
     
         16 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 15 ,
 wherein a plurality of action logs each corresponding to a different time period are provided from a single user of the plurality of users.   
     
     
         17 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the sensing information of each one of the plurality of users comprises information obtained from at least one sensor.   
     
     
         18 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the sensing information of each one of the plurality of users comprises information obtained from at least one of an acceleration sensor, a gyro-sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, a light intensity sensor, a temperature sensor, and a pressure sensor.   
     
     
         19 . An information processing method comprising:
 obtaining activity recognition information which is determined on the basis of sensing information of a plurality of users, the activity recognition information indicating recognized activities of the plurality of users based on location information of the plurality of users;   generating information for displaying representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users; and   displaying the representations in relation to a map, based on the generated information and by using specified criteria.   
     
     
         20 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having embodied thereon a program, which when executed by a computer causes the computer to execute an information processing method, the method comprising:
 obtaining activity recognition information which is determined on the basis of sensing information of a plurality of users, the activity recognition info ration indicating recognized activities of the plurality of users based on location information of the plurality of users; and   generating information for displaying representations of the recognized activities of the plurality of users in relation to a map by using specified criteria.
