Abstract

A mobile phone is disclosed. The mobile phone may receive a first request to generate an initial scannable image, and a second request to generate modified scannable image. The modified scannable image can include a static portion that corresponds to a static portion of the initial scannable image. The modified scannable image may also include another portion that has a different appearance than a corresponding portion of the initial scannable image.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 19 . (canceled)

         20 . A method comprising:
 receiving, at a wallet server computer, data scanned from a scannable image displayed at a first device during a transaction, wherein the scannable image comprises a first image portion comprising a static image, a modified second image portion comprising a first time when the scannable image was used, and a third image portion comprising a second time when the scannable image was requested; determining and comparing the first time and the second time from the scannable image; determining whether or not the first time and the second time match; and generating an electronic communication to decline the transaction based on the step of determining whether the first time matches the second time exactly.

         21 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the wallet server computer is in communication with a mobile device of a user, an access device, a merchant computer, and a payment processing network.

         22 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the wallet server computer manages an association between a digital wallet on behalf of a mobile device of a user and one or more payment accounts of the user.

         23 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the first device is a mobile device of a user.

         24 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the scannable image is a two-dimensional machine readable code.

         25 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the scannable image is scanned by an access device.

         26 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the first image portion encodes a token.

         27 . A wallet server computer comprising:
 a processor; and a memory comprising code, executable by the processor, for implementing a method comprising:
 receiving data scanned from a scannable image displayed at a first device during a transaction, wherein the scannable image comprises a first image portion comprising a static image, a modified second image portion comprising a first time when the scannable image was used, and a third image portion comprising a second time when the scannable image was requested;
 determining and comparing the first time and the second time from the scannable image;
 determining whether or not the first time and the second time match; and
 generating an electronic communication to decline the transaction based on the step of determining whether the first time matches the second time exactly.

         28 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the wallet server computer is in communication with a mobile device of a user, an access device, a merchant computer, and a payment processing network.

         29 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the wallet server computer manages an association between a digital wallet on behalf of a mobile device of a user and one or more payment accounts of the user.

         30 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the first device is a mobile device of a user.

         31 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the scannable image is a two-dimensional machine readable code.

         32 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the scannable image is scanned by an access device.

         33 . The wallet server computer of claim 27 , wherein the first image portion encodes a token.
