Omnidirectional fan assembly
Abstract
An omnidirectional fan assembly for blowing air in a plurality of directions and velocities includes a base is positionable on a support surface. A tower is rotatably coupled to the base such that the tower extends upwardly from the support surface. A plurality of fans is provided and each of the fans is coupled to the tower. Each of the fans blows air when the fans are turned on for cooling an area. The fans are distributed around the tower for urging air omnidirectionally with respect to the tower. Moreover, each of the fans is capable of being discreetly turned on with respect to each other for urging air in a selected direction and velocity with respect to the tower.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . An omnidirectional fan assembly being configured to urge air in all directions, said assembly comprising:
a base being positionable on a support surface; a tower being rotatably coupled to said base such that said tower extends upwardly from the support surface; and a plurality of fans, each of said fans being coupled to said tower, each of said fans blowing air when said fans are turned on for cooling an area, said fans being distributed around said tower for urging air omnidirectionally with respect to said tower, each of said fans being capable of being discreetly turned on with respect to each other for urging air in a selected direction and velocity with respect to said tower.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said base has a top end and a bottom end, said bottom end abutting the support surface; and said tower has a bottom end, a top end and an outer surface extending therebetween, said outer surface having a plurality of intersecting sides such that said tower has a cubic shape, said bottom end of said tower being rotatably coupled to said top end of said base, said bottom end of said tower having an air intake extending into an interior of said tower wherein said air intake is configured to pass air into said interior.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said outer surface has a plurality of apertures extending into said interior of said tower such that each of said apertures is in fluid communication with said air intake, said apertures distributed around each of said intersecting sides of said outer surface, said apertures being vertically distributed between said top end of said tower and said bottom end of said tower.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein each of said fans is positioned in a respective one of said apertures in said outer surface of said tower, each of said fans urging air inwardly through said intake and outwardly through said respective aperture when said fans are turned on.
5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , further comprising a plurality of grills, each of said grills being coupled to said outer surface of said tower, each of said grills being aligned with a respective one of said apertures to cover said fan being positioned in said respective aperture.
6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of switches, each of said switches is being coupled to said tower, each of said switches being electrically coupled to a respective one of said fans to turn said respective fan on and off.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , further comprising a power cord being coupled to and extending away from said tower, said power cord being electrically coupled to each of said switches, said power cord having a distal end with respect to said tower, said distal end having a plug being electrically coupled thereto, said plug being selectively electrically coupled to a power source.
8 . An omnidirectional fan assembly being configured to urge air in all directions, said assembly comprising:
a base being positionable on a support surface, said base having a top end and a bottom end, said bottom end abutting the support surface; a tower being rotatably coupled to said base such that said tower extends upwardly from the support surface, said tower having a bottom end, a top end and an outer surface extending therebetween, said outer surface having a plurality of intersecting sides such that said tower has a cubic shape, said bottom end of said tower being rotatably coupled to said top end of said base, said bottom end of said tower having an air intake extending into an interior of said tower wherein said air intake is configured to pass air into said interior, said outer surface having a plurality of apertures extending into said interior of said tower such that each of said apertures is in fluid communication with said air intake, said apertures distributed around each of said intersecting sides of said outer surface, said apertures being vertically distributed between said top end of said tower and said bottom end of said tower; a plurality of fans, each of said fans being coupled to said tower, each of said fans blowing air when said fans are turned on for cooling an area, said fans being distributed around said tower for urging air omnidirectionally with respect to said tower, each of said fans being capable of being discreetly turned on with respect to each other for urging air in a selected direction with respect to said tower, each of said fans being positioned in a respective one of said apertures in said outer surface of said tower, each of said fans urging air inwardly through said intake and outwardly through said respective aperture when said fans are turned on; a plurality of grills, each of said grills being coupled to said outer surface of said tower, each of said grills being aligned with a respective one of said apertures to cover said fan being positioned in said respective aperture; a plurality of switches, each of said switches is being coupled to said tower, each of said switches being electrically coupled to a respective one of said fans to turn said respective fan on and off; and a power cord being coupled to and extending away from said tower, said power cord being electrically coupled to each of said switches, said power cord having a distal end with respect to said tower, said distal end having a plug being electrically coupled thereto, said plug being selectively electrically coupled to a power source.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
