Claims

Abstract

A multi-layered security system having an attack side, the security system comprising a plurality of barriers arranged in a spaced apart relationship with respect to each other, wherein each pair of barriers are located opposite to each other to define another barrier comprising a passage located between the pair of barriers located opposite to each other. The system can additionally comprise security defences such as anti-climb mesh, spike barriers or rollers. The system further comprises a link bar to join together adjacent panels and create barriers. The link bar comprises a means for joining together adjacent panels on both ends and maintaining the panels in a spaced apart relationship. The link bar can also comprise a means for maintaining the panel in an erected condition by securing it to the ground.

A multi-layered security system having an attack side adapted to receive a first attack from an intruder, the system comprising a plurality of layers of defense, the layers of defense being adapted for receiving the first attack and subsequent second attacks from the intruder, the plurality of layers being defined by at least one pair of barriers, wherein the pair of barriers are arranged in a spaced apart relationship with respect to each other defining a second barrier comprising a passage located between the pair of first barriers. 
     
     
         2 . A multi-layered security system according to  claim 1  wherein the pair of barriers comprises a first barrier and third barrier located opposite with respect to each other defining the second barrier comprising the passage.

A multi-layered security system according to  claim 8  wherein each of the first and/or second panel comprises a frame member defining at least one face covered with anti-climb mesh, the frame member comprising posts having lower ends and upper ends, and noggins, the posts and noggins attached to each other.

A multi-layered security system according to  claim 20  wherein the link bar comprises first and second ends, and a bar joining together the first and second ends defining the third fastener for attaching in a spaced apart relationship the first and third barriers, the first end of the link bar comprises the first fastener for joining together adjacent first panels and the second end of the link bar comprises the second fastener for joining together adjacent second panels.
