Method and apparatus for implementing integration with websites
Abstract
A method and apparatus for building and delivering a HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) construction representing digital content layout are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the method includes constructing the digital content layout by selecting a delivery method, selecting subwidgets, and using the selected subwidgets to build and represent the digital content layout. The method further includes integrating the digital content layout with a designated website using a unique number that is mapped to a specific website identifier (SPID) that identifies the designated website. The method also includes delivering third-party content to the designated website. In addition, the method includes tracking interactive content on the designated website.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for building and delivering a HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) construction representing digital content layout, the method comprising:
constructing the digital content layout by selecting a delivery method, selecting subwidgets, and using the selected subwidgets to build and represent the digital content layout; integrating the digital content layout with a designated website using a unique number that is mapped to a specific website identifier (SPID) that identifies the designated website; delivering third-party content to the designated website; and tracking interactive content on the designated website.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
identifying a designated web page by referencing a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) path, referencing a subsection of the URL, identifying an object on the designated web page which shows a unique page identifier, or having the designated web page push the unique page identifier.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place inline content on the designated web page by using <div> tags, wherein the inline content is rendered natively in the designated web page.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place a call-to-action (CTA) on the designated web page by using a <div> tag, wherein the CTA is a button rendered on the designated web page which, when clicked, displays a desired experience.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place an overlay on the designated web page by dynamically injecting a <div> tag, wherein the overlay is a call-to-action (CTA) is overlaid on images to create an interactive effect.
6 . A computing device for building and delivering a HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) construction representing digital content layout, the computing device comprising:
a control circuit; a processor installed in the control circuit; and a memory installed in the control circuit and coupled to the processor; wherein the processor is configured to execute a program code stored in the memory to:
construct the digital content layout by selecting a delivery method, selecting subwidgets, and using the selected subwidgets to build and represent the digital content layout;
integrate the digital content layout with a designated website using a unique number that is mapped to a specific website identifier (SPID) that identifies the designated website;
deliver third-party content to the designated website; and
track interactive content on the designated website.
7 . The computing device of claim 6 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
identifying a designated web page by referencing a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) path, referencing a subsection of the URL, identifying an object on the designated web page which shows a unique page identifier, or having the designated web page push the unique page identifier.
8 . The computing device of claim 6 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place inline content on the designated web page by using <div> tags, wherein the inline content is rendered natively in the designated web page.
9 . The computing device of claim 6 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place a call-to-action (CTA) on the designated web page by using a <div> tag, wherein the CTA is a button rendered on the designated web page which, when clicked, displays a desired experience.
10 . The computing device of claim 6 , wherein the step of integrating the digital content layout with the designated website further comprises:
determining where to place an overlay on the designated web page by dynamically injecting a <div> tag, wherein the overlay is a call-to-action (CTA) is overlaid on images to create an interactive effect.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
