Method and apparatus for displaying medical image

Abstract

A medical image displaying apparatus includes: a user interface configured to receive a user input; a display configured to switch a first medical image to a second medical image included in a plurality of medical images, and display the second medical image, based on the user input; and a controller configured to change a switching speed from the first medical image to the second medical image based on whether the first medical image includes user content.

1 . A medical image displaying apparatus comprising:
 a user interface configured to receive a user input;   a display configured to switch a first medical image to a second medical image included in a plurality of medical images, and display the second medical image, based on the user input; and   a controller configured to change a switching speed from the first medical image to the second medical image based on whether the first medical image includes user content.   
     
     
         2 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the switching speed is dependent upon a kind of user content included in the first medical image. 
     
     
         3 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein the user content comprises at least one of an annotation, a marker, and a region of interest (ROI) generated by a user. 
     
     
         4 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to reduce the switching speed during a period of displaying the first medical image and the second medical image, when the first medical image includes the user content. 
     
     
         5 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured to vary a degree of reducing the switching speed based on a type of the user content included in the first medical image. 
     
     
         6 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
 control the display to display a search user interface displaying indicators respectively representing user contents for searching for at least one medical image including user content,   receive a user selection input for selecting an indicator from among the displayed indicators via the search user interface, and   search for a third medical image including the selected indicator, from among the plurality of medical images.   
     
     
         7 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 6 , further comprising:
 a storage storing an index table which is generated by indexing the plurality of medical images according to types of the user content,   wherein the controller is further configured to search for the third medical image including a specific type of the user content by using the index table.   
     
     
         8 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein the controller is further configured to control the display to display the third medical image via a popup window. 
     
     
         9 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
 control the display to display a list of user content included in the plurality of medical images,   receive a user selection input for selecting at least one user content via the list, and   extract medical images including the at least one user content selected by the user selection input.   
     
     
         10 . The medical image displaying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
 generate a plurality of templates providing lists of the plurality of medical images by classifying the plurality of medical images according to a type of the user content, and   control the display to display the plurality of templates.   
     
     
         11 . A medical image displaying method, comprising:
 receiving a user input;   switching a first medical image to a second medical image included in a plurality of medical images based on the user input, and displaying the second medical image; and   changing a switching speed from the first medical image to the second medical image, based on whether the first medical image includes user content.   
     
     
         12 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 11 , wherein the switching speed is determined based on a kind of the user content included in the first medical image. 
     
     
         13 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 12 , wherein the user content comprises at least one of an annotation, a marker, and a region of interest (ROI). 
     
     
         14 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 11 , wherein the changing the switching speed comprises reducing the switching speed during a period of displaying the first medical image and the second medical image, when the first medical image includes the user content. 
     
     
         15 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 14 , wherein the changing the switching speed comprises varying a degree of reducing the switching speed based on a type of the user content included in the first medical image. 
     
     
         16 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 displaying a search user interface displaying indicators respectively representing user contents for searching for at least one medical image including user content;   receiving a user selection input for selecting an indicator from among the displayed indicators via the search user interface; and   searching for a third medical image including the selected indicator, from among the plurality of medical images.   
     
     
         17 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 16 , wherein the searching for the third medical image comprises searching for the third medical image by using an index table, and
 wherein the index table is generated by indexing the plurality of medical images according to types of the user content.   
     
     
         18 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 16 , further comprising:
 displaying the third medical image via a popup window.   
     
     
         19 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 displaying a list of user content included in the plurality of medical images;   receiving a user selection input for selecting at least one user content via the list; and   extracting medical images including the at least one user content selected by the user selection input.   
     
     
         20 . The medical image displaying method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 generating a plurality of templates providing lists of the plurality of medical images by classifying the plurality of medical images according to a type of the user content; and   displaying the plurality of templates.
