5g connected medical device
Abstract
A method includes identifying a medical service for a user based on a request signal received from a mobile device associated with the user, the mobile device and identifying a plurality of medical service providers based on at least the medical service type. The method includes determining a plurality of travel times, wherein each of the plurality of travel times is indicative of a time to travel between the location and a provider location of a respective one of the plurality of service providers. The plurality of travel times are based on traffic information. The method also includes determining a ranking of the plurality of medical service providers based on the plurality of travel times and causing the mobile device to display at least a portion of the ranking.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A computer-implemented method performed by a processor, the method comprising:
receiving sensor data from at least one biometric sensor of a mobile device; analyzing the sensor data to determine health characteristics for a user associated with the mobile device; based on the health characteristics, determining at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user; determining a location of the mobile device; identifying one or more medical service providers based on the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user and the location of the mobile device; and transmitting a location for each of the one or more medical service providers to the mobile device.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:
receiving a selection of a medical service provider of the one or more medical service providers from the mobile device; and
notifying the selected medical service provider of an impending arrival of the user.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising based on the identification, providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to the one or more medical service providers.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising, based on the analysis, determining whether at least one health characteristic for the user is life threatening or non-life threatening.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:
based on the analysis, providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to a first subset of the one or more medical service providers in response to the at least one health characteristic of the user being life threatening; and
providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to a second subset of the one or more medical service providers in response to the health characteristics of the user being non-life threatening.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:
determining a plurality of travel times, wherein each of the plurality of travel times is indicative of an estimated time to travel between the location and a provider location for each of the one or more medical service providers; and
identifying a first subset of the one or more medical service providers having operating hours for which an estimated arrival time is outside of a predetermined threshold of associated operating hours.
7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:
determining a plurality of estimated wait times for the one or more medical service providers based on at least data provided by the one or more medical service providers; and
determining a ranking of the one or more medical service providers based on whether each of the one or more medical service providers accepts a health insurance plan associated with user, the plurality of travel times, and the plurality of estimated wait times, wherein the ranking excludes the first subset of the one or more medical service providers.
8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising determining a ranking of the one or more medical service providers based on a language type associated with the user and a language type associated with each of the one or more medical service providers.
9 . A device comprising:
a processor; and a memory coupled with the processor, the memory storing executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising: receiving sensor data from at least one biometric sensor of a mobile device; analyzing the sensor data to determine health characteristics for a user associated with the mobile device; based on the health characteristics, determining at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user; determining a location of the mobile device; identifying one or more medical service providers based on the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user and the location of the mobile device; and transmitting a location for each of the one or more medical service providers to the mobile device.
10 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising:
receiving a selection of a medical service provider of the one or more medical service providers from the mobile device; and notifying the selected medical service provider of an impending arrival of the user.
11 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising based on the identification, providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to the one or more medical service providers.
12 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising, based on the analysis, determining whether at least one health characteristic for the user is life threatening or non-life threatening.
13 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising:
based on the analysis, providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to a first subset of the one or more medical service providers in response to the at least one health characteristic of the user being life threatening; and providing the health characteristics for the user and the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user to a second subset of the one or more medical service providers in response to the health characteristics of the user being non-life threatening.
14 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising:
determining a plurality of travel times, wherein each of the plurality of travel times is indicative of an estimated time to travel between the location and a provider location for each of the one or more medical service providers; and identifying a first subset of the one or more medical service providers having operating hours for which an estimated arrival time is outside of a predetermined threshold of associated operating hours.
15 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising:
determining a plurality of estimated wait times for the one or more medical service providers based on at least data provided by the at least one of the one or more medical service providers; and determining a ranking of the one or more medical service providers based on whether each of the one or more medical service providers accepts a health insurance plan associated with user, the plurality of travel times, and the plurality of estimated wait times, wherein the ranking excludes the first subset of the one or more medical service providers.
16 . The device of claim 9 , the operations further comprising determining a ranking of the one or more medical service providers based on a language type associated with the user and a language type associated with each of the one or more medical service providers.
17 . A computer readable medium storing computer executable instructions that when executed by a computing device cause said computing device to effectuate operations comprising:
receiving sensor data from at least one biometric sensor of a mobile device; analyzing the sensor data to determine health characteristics for a user associated with the mobile device; based on the health characteristics, determining at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user; determining a location of the mobile device; identifying one or more medical service providers based on the at least one type of medical service needed to treat the user and the location of the mobile device; and transmitting a location for each of the one or more medical service providers to the mobile device.
