Abstract

A method for identifying and initiating actions of a meeting. The method includes a computer processor monitoring a meeting where monitoring the meeting includes receiving input from at least a first computing device. The method further includes identifying a plurality of metadata triggers associated with the received input of meeting. The method further includes identifying an occurrence of a first metadata trigger of the plurality of metadata triggers associated with the received input of the meeting. The method further includes analyzing a first portion of the received input of the meeting that includes an occurrence of the first metadata trigger and identifying a first action associated with the first metadata trigger. The method further includes determining a response criterion of the first metadata trigger. The method further includes responding to a determination that the first metadata trigger includes a response criterion indicating immediate action by initiating the first action.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for identifying and initiating actions of a meeting, the method comprising:
 monitoring, by one or more computer processors, a meeting, wherein monitoring the meeting includes receiving input from at least a first computing device;   identifying, by one or more computer processors, an occurrence of a first metadata trigger of a plurality of metadata triggers associated with the received input of the meeting;   analyzing, by one or more computer processors, a first portion of the received input of the meeting that includes an occurrence of the first metadata trigger, wherein analyzing the first portion of the received input includes identifying a first action;   determining, by one or more computer processors, a response criterion of the first metadata trigger; and   responsive to determining that the first metadata trigger includes a response criterion indicating immediate action, initiating, by one or more computer processors, the first action.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first action is selected from the group consisting of identifying a task, assigning the task to at least one participant of the meeting, allocating one or more resources to the task, generating a timeline for the task, and updating a task list from a previous meeting. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 identifying, by one or more computer processors, one or more rules associated with a metadata trigger that parse a portion of the received input of the meeting that occurs within a contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger; and   determining, by one or more computer processors, whether two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions; and   responsive to determining that two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions, determining, by one or more computer processors, a respective action based on identifying a condition corresponding to the respective action occurring within the received input of the meeting that occurs within the contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger.   
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 determining, by one or more computer processors, based on cognitive analyses of verbal communications and non-verbal actions by one or more participants of the plurality of participants included in the meeting, whether a decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence;   responsive to determining that the decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence, delaying, by one or more computer processors, to initiate the first action.   
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 4 , wherein sentiment associated with the decision related to the first action is based on a social perception analysis of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants included in the meeting. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 responsive to determining that the first action includes a response criterion of delayed in-meeting action, including, by one or more computer processors, the first action in the in-meeting queue of actions associated with the meeting;   wherein an action of the in-meeting queue of actions initiates based on identifying an occurrence of information during a second portion of the meeting; and   wherein the information satisfies a condition of a metadata trigger associated with the first action in the in-meeting queue.   
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 determining, by one or more computer processors, that one or more additional analyses of the received input of the meeting affects an aspect relate to the first action, wherein the aspect relate to the first action is selected from the group consisting of an indication of priority associated with the first action, a due date associated with the first action, sentiment associated with a decision related to the first action, and determining one or more resources to assign to the first action.   
     
     
         8 . A computer program product for identifying and initiating actions of a meeting, the computer program product comprising:
 one or more computer readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media, the program instructions readable/executable by one or more computer processors:
 program instructions to monitor a meeting, wherein monitoring the meeting includes receiving input from at least a first computing device; 
 program instructions to identify an occurrence of a first metadata trigger of a plurality of metadata triggers associated with the received input of the meeting; 
 program instructions to analyze a first portion of the received input of the meeting that includes an occurrence of the first metadata trigger, wherein analyzing the first portion of the received input includes identifying a first action; 
 program instructions to determine a response criterion of the first metadata trigger; and 
 responsive to determining that the first metadata trigger includes a response criterion indicating immediate action, program instructions to initiate the first action. 
   
     
     
         9 . The computer program product of  claim 8 , wherein the first action is selected from the group consisting of identifying a task, assigning the task to at least one participant of the meeting, allocating one or more resources to the task, generating a timeline for the task, and updating a task list from a previous meeting. 
     
     
         10 . The computer program product of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 program instructions to identify one or more rules associated with a metadata trigger that parse a portion of the received input of the meeting that occurs within a contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger;   program instructions to determine whether two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions; and   responsive to determining that two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions, program instructions to determine a respective action based on identifying a condition corresponding to the respective action occurring within the received input of the meeting that occurs within the contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger.   
     
     
         11 . The computer program product of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 program instructions to determine, based on cognitive analyses of verbal communications and non-verbal actions by one or more participants of the plurality of participants included in the meeting, whether a decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence;   responsive to determining that the decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence, program instructions to delay initiating the first action.   
     
     
         12 . The computer program product of  claim 11 , wherein sentiment associated with the decision related to the first action is based on a social perception analysis of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants included in the meeting. 
     
     
         13 . The computer program product of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 responsive to determining that the first action includes a response criterion of delayed in-meeting action, program instructions to include the first action in the in-meeting queue of actions associated with the meeting;   wherein an action of the in-meeting queue of actions initiates based on identifying an occurrence of information during a second portion of the meeting; and   wherein the information satisfies a condition of a metadata trigger associated with the first action in the in-meeting queue.   
     
     
         14 . The computer program product of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 program instructions to determine that one or more additional analyses of the received input of the meeting affects an aspect relate to the first action, wherein the aspect relate to the first action is selected from the group consisting of an indication of priority associated with the first action, a due date associated with the first action, sentiment associated with a decision related to the first action, and determining one or more resources to assign to the first action.   
     
     
         15 . A computer system for identifying and initiating actions of a meeting, the computer system comprising:
 one or more computer processors;   one or more computer readable storage media;   program instructions stored on the computer readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more computer processors, the program instructions comprising:
 program instructions to monitor a meeting, wherein monitoring the meeting includes receiving input from at least a first computing device; 
 program instructions to identify an occurrence of a first metadata trigger of a plurality of metadata triggers associated with the received input of the meeting; 
 program instructions to analyze a first portion of the received input of the meeting that includes an occurrence of the first metadata trigger, wherein analyzing the first portion of the received input includes identifying a first action; 
 program instructions to determine a response criterion of the first metadata trigger; and 
   
       responsive to determining that the first metadata trigger includes a response criterion indicating immediate action, program instructions to initiate the first action

The computer system of  claim 15 , wherein the first action is selected from the group consisting of identifying a task, assigning the task to at least one participant of the meeting, allocating one or more resources to the task, generating a timeline for the task, and updating a task list from a previous meeting. 
     
     
         17 . The computer system of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 program instructions to identify one or more rules associated with a metadata trigger that parse a portion of the received input of the meeting that occurs within a contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger;   program instructions to determine whether two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions; and   responsive to determining that two or more conditions related to the metadata trigger initiate two or more respective actions, program instructions to determine a respective action based on identifying a condition corresponding to the respective action occurring within the received input of the meeting that occurs within the contextual proximity of an occurrence of the metadata trigger.   
     
     
         18 . The computer system of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 program instructions to determine, based on cognitive analyses of verbal communications and non-verbal actions by one or more participants of the plurality of participants included in the meeting, whether a decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence;   responsive to determining that the decision associated with the first action lacks sentiment-based concurrence, program instructions to delay initiating the first action.   
     
     
         19 . The computer system of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 responsive to determining that the first action includes a response criterion of delayed in-meeting action, program instructions to include the first action in the in-meeting queue of actions associated with the meeting;   wherein an action of the in-meeting queue of actions initiates based on identifying an occurrence of information during a second portion of the meeting; and   wherein the information satisfies a condition of a metadata trigger associated with the first action in the in-meeting queue.   
     
     
         20 . The computer system of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 program instructions to determine that one or more additional analyses of the received input of the meeting affects an aspect relate to the first action, wherein the aspect relate to the first action is selected from the group consisting of an indication of priority associated with the first action, a due date associated with the first action, sentiment associated with a decision related to the first action, and determining one or more resources to assign to the first action.
