Abstract

The invention relates to firearms and is a device for mounting the barrel in the receiver. The firearm comprising a receiver with a barrel attachment unit in the form of a clamp, which has on, or more holes in its upper part, a barrel and a base for sighting devices. The barrel is fixed in the barrel attachment unit, and the base for the sighting devices is mounted directly on to the barrel through the holes of the barrel attachment unit. This solution allows to remove the stress from the receiver, arising during the installation of sighting devices, which makes it possible to make the firearm lighter and reduce the production cost. The invention is aimed at improving the performance of the firearm and reducing the production cost.
