Method and apparatus for generating or using interaction activity information

Abstract

A method of generating interaction activity information, performed by a device, is provided. The method includes establishing communication with at least one external apparatus, receiving first information about a user selectable function of the external apparatus, and generating second information, based on the first information, about a user selectable function of the device.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method of generating interaction activity information, performed by a device, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with at least one external apparatus;   receiving first information about a user selectable function of the external apparatus; and   generating second information, based on the first information, about a user selectable function of the device.   
     
     
         2 . A method of displaying a cooperative function list, performed by a device, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with at least one external apparatus;   receiving information about at least one user selectable function of the external apparatus; and   displaying a list, based on the information, of at least one user selectable function of the device.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , further comprising:
 receiving an input for selecting one of the at least one function of the device; and   performing the selected function.   
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3 , further comprising transmitting media content related to the selected function to the external device. 
     
     
         5 . A method of carrying out a cooperative function with an external device, performed by a device, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with the external device;   transmitting information about at least one function of the device;   receiving control signal from the external device; and   carrying out the cooperative function in collaboration with the external device in response to the control signal.   
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , further comprising:
 receiving a media content related to the cooperative function from the external device; and   playing the media content on the device.   
     
     
         7 . A device for sending information, the device comprising:
 a communicator;   a display; and   a processor configured to:
 establish communication with at least one external apparatus, 
 receive first information about a user selectable function of the external apparatus, and 
 generate second information, based on the first information, about a user selectable function of the device. 
   
     
     
         8 . A device for displaying a function list, the device comprising:
 a communicator;   a display; and   a processor configured to:
 establish communication with at least one external apparatus, 
 receive information about at least one user selectable function of the external apparatus, and 
 display a list, based on the information, of at least one user selectable function of the device. 
   
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to control a user interface to receive an input for selecting one of the at least one function in the device. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to control the communicator to transmit a media content related to the selected function to the external device. 
     
     
         11 . A device for carrying out a cooperative function with an external device, the device comprising:
 a communicator;   a display; and   a processor configured to:
 establish communication with the external device, 
 transmit information about at least one function of the device, 
 receive control signal from the external device, and 
 carry out the cooperative function in collaboration with the external device in response to the control signal. 
   
     
     
         12 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the processor controls the communicator to receive media content related to the function from the external device and controls the display to display the media content on the device. 
     
     
         13 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program, which when executed, controls a device to perform a method for generating interaction activity information, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with at least one external apparatus;   receiving first information about a user selectable function of the external apparatus; and   generating second information, based on the first information, about a user selectable function of the device.   
     
     
         14 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program, which when executed, controls a device to perform a method for displaying a cooperative function list, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with at least one external apparatus;   receiving information about at least one user selectable function of the external apparatus; and   displaying a list, based on the information, of at least one user selectable function of the device.   
     
     
         15 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program, which when executed, controls a device to perform a method for carrying out a cooperative function with an external device, the method comprising:
 establishing communication with the external device;   transmitting information about at least one function of the device;   receiving control signal from the external device; and   carrying out the cooperative function in collaboration with the external device in response to the control signal.
