Abstract
Disclosed is a system for holding a hat. The system includes a hat, a strap having a first end and a second end, a carabiner coupled to the first end of the strap, a clip coupled to second end of the strap, the clip configured to retain a portion of the hat therein, and a brim of the hat retained in the clip.

a strap having a first end and a second end; a hook coupled to the first end of the strap; and a clip coupled to second end of the strap, the clip configured to retain a portion of a hat therein.

3 . The hat holder of claim 1 further comprising a gate of the hook.
4 . The hat holder of claim 1 wherein the strap is formed from nylon webbing.
5 . The hat holder of claim 1 wherein the strap is formed from leather.
6 . The hat holder of claim 1 wherein the hook is coupled to the strap by folding a piece of the strap over the hook.

10 . A system for holding a hat, the system comprising:
a hat; a strap having a first end and a second end; a carabiner coupled to the first end of the strap; and a clip coupled to second end of the strap, the clip configured to retain a portion of the hat therein.

a brim of the hat; and
wherein the brim of the hat is retained in the clip.
12 . The system of claim 10 wherein the strap is formed from nylon webbing.
13 . The system of claim 10 wherein the strap is formed from leather.
14 . The system of claim 10 wherein the carabiner is coupled to the strap by folding a piece of the strap over the hook.
15 . The system of claim 10 wherein the carabiner is couple to a belt loop.
