Method and apparatus for allocating resources for v2x communication
Abstract
Disclosed are a method, communication scheme and a system thereof for converging an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting a high data transmission rate beyond that of a 4G system. The method, communication scheme and a system can be applied to intelligent services (for example, services related to a smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security, and safety) based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology. A method for allocating resources for D2D communication by a User Equipment (UE) includes: identifying a movement direction of the UE; selecting a resource pool mapped to the identified movement direction among resource pools allocated according to the movement direction; and performing D2D communication using the selected resource pool.

1 . A method for performing V2X communication by an electronic device, comprising:
receiving information indicating a plurality of resources allocated for the V2X communication; and performing the V2X communication based on at least one resource among the plurality of resources, wherein the at least one resource is selected based on a movement direction of the electronic device.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the information indicating the plurality of resources indicates at least one resource pool among a plurality of resource pools allocated for the V2X communication, and
wherein the at least one resource is in a resource pool which is selected based on the movement direction of the electronic device among the at least one resource pool.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the resource pool is selected further based on a movement speed of the electronic device.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
transmitting to a base station, information on the movement direction of the electronic device, and the movement speed of the electronic device.
5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein for the V2X communication, the resource pool is commonly used by a plurality of electronic devices which are grouped based on movement directions of the plurality of electronic devices.
6 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
receiving, from a base station, information indicating the resource pool for the V2X communication.
7 . An electronic device for performing V2X communication, comprising:
a transceiver; and at least one processor coupled to the transceiver, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
receive information indicating a plurality of resources allocated for the V2X communication; and
perform the V2X communication based on at least one resource among the plurality of resources,
wherein the at least one resource is selected based on a movement direction of the electronic device.
8 . The electronic device of claim 7 , wherein the information indicating the plurality of resources indicates at least one resource pool among a plurality of resource pools allocated for the V2X communication, and
wherein the at least one resource is in a resource pool which is selected based on the movement direction of the electronic device among the at least one resource pool.
9 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the resource pool is selected further based on a movement speed of the electronic device.
10 . The electronic device of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
transmit to a base station, information on the movement direction of the electronic device, and the movement speed of the electronic device.
11 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein for the V2X communication, the resource pool is commonly used by a plurality of electronic devices which are grouped based on movement directions of the plurality of electronic devices.
12 . The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
receive, from a base station, information indicating the resource pool for the V2X communication.
13 . A method for supporting V2X communication by a base station, comprising:
identifying a plurality of resources allocated for the V2X communication; and transmitting to an electronic device, information indicating the plurality of resources, wherein the V2X communication is performed by the electronic device based on at least one resource among the plurality of resources, wherein the at least one resource is selected based on a movement direction of the electronic device.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the information indicating the plurality of resources indicates at least one resource pool among a plurality of resource pools allocated for the V2X communication, and
wherein the at least one resource is in a resource pool which is selected based on the movement direction of the electronic device among the at least one resource pool.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the resource pool is selected further based on a movement speed of the electronic device.
16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:
receiving from the electronic device, information on the movement direction of the electronic device, and the movement speed of the electronic device.
17 . The method of claim 14 , wherein for the V2X communication, the resource pool is commonly used by a plurality of electronic devices which are grouped based on movement directions of the plurality of electronic devices.
18 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
transmitting, to the electronic device, information indicating the resource pool for the V2X communication.
19 . A base station for supporting V2X communication, comprising:
a transceiver; and at least one processor coupled to the transceiver, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
identify a plurality of resources allocated for the V2X communication, and
transmit to an electronic device, information indicating the plurality of resources,
wherein the V2X communication is performed by the electronic device based on at least one resource among the plurality of resources, wherein the at least one resource is selected based on a movement direction of the electronic device.
20 . The base station of claim 19 , wherein the information indicating the plurality of resources indicates at least one resource pool among a plurality of resource pools allocated for the V2X communication, and
wherein the at least one resource is in a resource pool which is selected based on the movement direction of the electronic device among the at least one resource pool.
21 . The base station of claim 20 , wherein the resource pool is selected further based on a movement speed of the electronic device.
22 . The base station of claim 21 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
receive from the electronic device, information on the movement direction of the electronic device, and the movement speed of the electronic device.
23 . The base station of claim 20 , wherein for the V2X communication, the resource pool is commonly used by a plurality of electronic devices which are grouped based on movement directions of the plurality of electronic devices.
24 . The base station of claim 20 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
