Abstract

An example device includes first and second cameras and a touchscreen user interface configured to concurrently display first and second buttons and a real time image captured by the selected one of the cameras. The first button is operable for selecting between the first and second cameras, and the second button is operable for taking a picture using the selected one of the cameras.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A handholdable imaging apparatus comprising:
 a memory;   a first housing comprising a touchscreen first display and a plurality of operation buttons;   a second housing comprising a first camera and connected to the first housing such that the first and second housings are foldable; and   a processor configured to:
 control the first camera to capture images; 
 control storing of the captured images in the memory; 
 control, in response to selection of one of the stored images for editing, display of the selected image; and 
 while the selected image is displayed:
 control, in response to a drawing input on the touchscreen first display, drawing onto the selected image; 
 control, in response to a magnification input to the touchscreen first display, display of a magnified portion of the selected image; and 
 control, in response to move inputs to the touchscreen first display, moving of the selected image 
 
   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable colors. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable line thicknesses. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, selectively erase the drawing onto the selected image. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, add an image stored in the memory to the selected image. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, move the added image. 
     
     
         7 . A handholdable apparatus comprising:
 wireless communication circuitry;   a memory;   a touchscreen display;   one or more operation buttons;   at least one camera; and   a processor configured to:
 control the at least one camera to capture images; 
 control storing of the captured images in the memory; 
 control, in response to selection of one of the stored images for editing, display of the selected image; and 
 while the selected image is displayed:
 control, in response to a drawing input on the touchscreen display, drawing onto the selected image; 
 control, in response to a magnification input to the touchscreen display, display of a magnified portion of the selected image; and 
 control, in response to move inputs to the touchscreen display, moving of the selected image. 
 
   
     
     
         8 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable colors. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable line thicknesses. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, selectively erase the drawing onto the selected image. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, add an image stored in the memory to the selected image. 
     
     
         12 . The apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, move the added image. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the at least one camera comprises first and second opposite facing cameras. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the processor is further configured to control displaying a plurality of indicators, each corresponding to one of the stored images, and selecting the image for editing based on selection of one of the indicators. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus according to  claim 14 , wherein the indicators are scrollable. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus according to  claim 14 , wherein the indicators are displayed chronologically. 
     
     
         17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program that, when executed by a processor of a handholdable apparatus comprising a touchscreen display; one or more operation buttons; at least one camera, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:
 controlling the at least one camera to capture images;   controlling storing of the captured images;   controlling, in response to selection of one of the stored images for editing, display of the selected image; and   while the selected image is displayed:
 controlling, in response to a drawing input on the touchscreen display, drawing onto the selected image; 
 controlling, in response to a magnification input to the touchscreen display, display of a magnified portion of the selected image; and 
 controlling, in response to move inputs to the touchscreen display, moving of the selected image. 
   
     
     
         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 17 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable colors. 
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 17 , wherein the drawing uses one of a plurality of different selectable line thicknesses. 
     
     
         20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 17 , wherein the processor is further configured to, while the selected image is displayed, selectively erase the drawing onto the selected image. 
     
     
         21 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 while the selected image is displayed, adding a stored image to the selected image.   
     
     
         22 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 21 , wherein the operations further comprise, while the selected image is displayed, moving the added image. 
     
     
         23 . A method for a handholdable apparatus comprising a touchscreen display; a memory; one or more operation buttons; and at least one camera, the method comprising:
 controlling the at least one camera to capture images;   controlling storing of the captured images in the memory;   controlling, in response to selection of one of the stored images for editing, display of the selected image; and   while the selected image is displayed:
 controlling, in response to a drawing input on the touchscreen display, drawing onto the selected image; 
 controlling, in response to a magnification input to the touchscreen display, display of a magnified portion of the selected image; and 
 controlling, in response to move inputs to the touchscreen display, moving of the selected image.
