Abstract
Cable lay braid having a plurality of intertwined twists, wherein each twist is laid from a plurality of twisted strands, characterized in that each strand is formed from a plurality of twisted yarns or twines.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cable lay braid, comprising: a plurality of intertwined twists, wherein each twist is laid from a plurality of intertwined strands, characterized in that each strand is formed from a plurality of twisted yarns or twines.
2 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that each twist is laid from at least one core strand and a plurality of cover strands.
3 . The cable lay braid according to claim 2 , characterized in that each twist is laid from a core strand and six cover strands or from three core and nine cover strands.
4 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that each strand consists of at least three yarns or twines.
5 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that there are 4, 8, 12 twists or more.
6 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the twists are twisted to form a square plait or a 12-strand braid.
7 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the yarns have a first or second lay direction (S- or Z-lay) and twines, so far as present, have a first or second lay direction (S- or Z-lay) in equal lay or cross lay.
8 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the strands have a first or second lay direction (S- or Z-lay), wherein the yarns or twines have the same or opposite lay direction in equal lay or cross lay.
9 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the twists have a first or second lay direction (S- or Z-lay), wherein the strands have the same or opposite lay direction in equal lay or cross lay.
10 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the yarns or twines comprise monofilaments with circular, oval, polygon or many times rounded cross-section or consist of such.
11 . The cable lay braid according to claim 1 , characterized in that the yarns or twines and/or the strands and/or the twists are enhanced or the entire cable lay braid is enhanced.
12 . A rope having a cable lay braid comprising: a plurality of intertwined twists, wherein each twist is laid from a plurality of intertwined strands, characterized in that each strand is formed from a plurality of twisted yarns or twines, characterized in that the cable lay braid is embodied as a single braid, as core in a double braid, as core cover braid, or as multi-core braid.
13 . A method for producing a cable lay braid, comprising: creating twists from a plurality of intertwined strands, wherein each strand is formed from a plurality of twisted yarns or twines and interweaving a plurality of twists to form a cable lay braid.
14 . The method according to claim 13 , characterized in that the yarns or twines, strands and/or twists are enhanced prior to twisting or intertwining or the entire cable lay braid is enhanced.
15 . The method according to claim 14 wherein the enhancing comprises a step of fixing, stretching, pigmenting, or coating.
16 . The cable lay braid according to claim 11 wherein the enhancing comprises a fixing, stretching, pigmenting, or coating.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
