Abstract
A shower liner stay for holding a shower liner away from the showering area while a person is taking a shower. The shower liner stay includes a shower liner having strategically integrated retaining member(s) for retaining one or more pensile wands adjacent the shower liner for keeping the shower liner in place regardless of strong aerodynamic conditions during a shower. Customary and normal operation of the shower liner remains.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A shower liner, comprising:
a flexible sheet of material including hanging means for hanging end to end adjacent a showering area; and at least one integrated retaining member for retaining a pensile wand in a vertically aligned position adjacent a surface of the shower liner for keeping the shower liner in place during a shower.
2 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the retaining member includes a pocket including a seam.
3 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the retaining member includes a loop.
4 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the retaining member includes a bottom support terminator.
5 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the retaining member includes a separation point for the pensile wand to prevent inward movement of the shower liner using a showering area edge.
6 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the surface is a dry side surface of the shower liner.
7 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the pensile wand is comprised of a plurality of connected pensile wands.
8 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the pensile wand includes a pendent terminator to hang from:
a shower curtain hanger, or
a shower curtain rod, or
a grommet hole, or
a loop, or
a pocket, or
a hole near the top of the shower liner, or
an attachment place near the top of the shower liner.
9 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the pensile wand is made of a material of fiberglass, or carbon, or graphite.
10 . The shower liner of claim 1 wherein the retaining member is formed as a pocket by folding the material of the shower liner.
11 . A shower liner apparatus, comprising:
a flexible sheet of material including hanging means for hanging end to end adjacent a showering area; and at least one integrated retaining member for retaining a pensile wand in a vertically aligned position adjacent a surface of the shower liner for keeping the shower liner in place during a shower.
12 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the retaining member includes a pocket including a seam.
13 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the retaining member includes a loop.
14 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the retaining member includes a bottom support terminator.
15 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the retaining member includes a separation point for the pensile wand to prevent inward movement of the shower liner using a showering area edge.
16 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the surface is a dry side surface of the shower liner.
17 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the pensile wand is comprised of a plurality of connected pensile wands.
18 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the pensile wand includes a pendent terminator to hang from:
a shower curtain hanger, or
a shower curtain rod, or
a grommet hole, or
a loop, or
a pocket, or
a hole near the top of the shower liner, or
an attachment place near the top of the shower liner.
19 . The shower liner apparatus of claim 11 wherein the pensile wand is made of a material of fiberglass, or carbon, or graphite.
20 . An article of manufacture for a shower liner, comprising:
a flexible sheet of material including hanging means for hanging end to end adjacent a showering area; and at least one integrated retaining member for retaining a pensile wand in a vertically aligned position adjacent a surface of the shower liner for keeping the shower liner in place during a shower.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
