Oil-in-water type dermatological composition for external use

Abstract

An oil-in-water emulsion composition for skin includes 0.2 to 2.5% by mass of polyisobutene having a relative mass in a range of 30,000 to 100,000. The composition is applied to skin except for a lip.

1 . An oil-in-water emulsion composition for skin that is applied to a skin portion except for a lip, comprising:
 0.2 to 2.5% by mass of polyisobutene having a relative mass in a range of 30,000 to 100,000.   
     
     
         2 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 0.5 to 10% by mass of a hydrocarbon oil in which the polyisobutene is soluble.   
     
     
         3 . The composition, according to  claim 2 , wherein:
 the hydrocarbon oil is volatile.   
     
     
         4 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 0 to 3% by mass of a thickener.   
     
     
         5 . The composition, according to  claim 4 , wherein:
 the thickener includes at least one of a homopolymer, a copolymer including a 2-acrylamido-2-methyl sulfonic acid component, and a salt of either one thereof.   
     
     
         6 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 an elastomer.   
     
     
         7 . The composition, according to  claim 6 , wherein:
 the elastomer is in a range of 0.1 to 6% by mass.   
     
     
         8 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 a pigment is at most 4% by mass.   
     
     
         9 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the composition is to be applied with the hand.   
     
     
         10 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the composition is to be applied around the eyes.   
     
     
         11 . The composition, according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the composition is for providing a firm sensation to the skin.
