Abstract

A random access procedure is suitably carried out in future radio communication systems. A user terminal that uses a random access procedure includes: a reception section that receives a contention resolution message during a random access; and a control section that controls transmission of a transmission acknowledgement signal for the contention resolution message, and the control section performs control to transmit the transmission acknowledgement signal by using resources of a predetermined uplink control channel based on at least a response signal for the random access or configuration information of an uplink control channel included in the contention resolution message.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A user terminal that uses a random access procedure comprising:
a reception section that receives a contention resolution message during a random access; and a control section that controls transmission of a transmission acknowledgement signal for the contention resolution message, wherein the control section performs control to transmit the transmission acknowledgement signal by using a resource of a predetermined uplink control channel based on at least a response signal for a random access or configuration information of an uplink control channel included in the contention resolution message.

2 . The user terminal according to claim 1 , wherein, when the transmission of the configuration information of the uplink control channel is supported by the contention resolution message, and the transmission acknowledgement signal is NACK, the control section performs control not to transmit the transmission acknowledgement signal.

3 . The user terminal according to claim 1 , wherein, when the transmission of the configuration information of the uplink control channel is supported by the response signal for the random access, the control section controls the transmission of the transmission acknowledgement signal based on the configuration information of the uplink control channel configured to at least part of resource information of a UL grant included in the response signal for the random access.

4 . The user terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the reception section receives by system information the configuration information of the uplink control channel commonly configured to the user terminal, and receives by the response signal for the random access and/or the contention resolution message the configuration information of the uplink control channel individually configured to the user terminal.

5 . The user terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the configuration information of the uplink control channel includes information related to whether or not frequency hopping of the uplink control channel is applied and/or an allocation position.

6 . A radio communication method of a user terminal that uses a random access procedure, the radio communication method comprising:
receiving a contention resolution message during a random access; and transmitting a transmission acknowledgement signal for the contention resolution message, wherein control is performed to transmit the transmission acknowledgement signal by using a resource of a predetermined uplink control channel based on at least a response signal for the random access or configuration information of an uplink control channel included in the contention resolution message.

7 . The user terminal according to claim 2 , wherein the configuration information of the uplink control channel includes information related to whether or not frequency hopping of the uplink control channel is applied and/or an allocation position.

8 . The user terminal according to claim 3 , wherein the configuration information of the uplink control channel includes information related to whether or not frequency hopping of the uplink control channel is applied and/or an allocation position.

9 . The user terminal according to claim 4 , wherein the configuration information of the uplink control channel includes information related to whether or not frequency hopping of the uplink control channel is applied and/or an allocation position.
