Abstract
Disclosed is a die having a plurality of divisions through which a source material plate is repeatedly moved and pressed into various types of shims, which are in turn automatically sorted and collected by the types without being mixed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A die for manufacturing a shim, the die comprising:
a lower die block on which a source material plate is seated and located, wherein an upper surface thereof is divided into a plurality of die divisions; an upper die block provided above the lower die block, wherein a lower surface thereof has a shape corresponding to that of the upper surface of the lower die block and is vertically movable towards the lower die block; and a collecting box provided below the lower die block to collect shims obtained downwards from the lower die block by a pressing operation of the upper die block returning to an original position thereof after vertical movement towards the lower die block, wherein when the source material plate is seated and located on a first die division of the die divisions, the pressing operation of the upper die block is performed on the first die division, and when the source material plate is moved to and seated on a second die division adjacent to the first die division of the die divisions, the pressing operation of the upper die block is performed on the second die division.
2 . The die according to claim 1 , wherein the lower die block includes first to fourth die units adjacent to first to fourth sides thereof, wherein the first to fourth die units are coupled to the upper surface of the lower die block by means of one or more bolts.
3 . The die according to claim 2 , wherein the first to fourth die units are detachably coupled to the upper surface of the lower die block.
4 . The die according to claim 2 , wherein the upper die block includes fifth to eighth die units adjacent to fifth to eighth sides thereof, wherein the fifth to eighth die units are coupled to the lower surface of the upper die block by means of one or more bolts.
5 . The die according to claim 4 , wherein the fifth to eighth die units are detachably coupled to the lower surface of the upper die block.
6 . The die according to claim 4 , wherein the firth to fourth die units are provided opposite the fifth to eighth die units, respectively.
7 . The die according to claim 2 , wherein the first to fourth die units are provided on the sides thereof with a plurality of protrusions to prevent the source material plate from turning off the first to fourth die units.
8 . The die according to claim 2 , wherein the collecting box includes a first collecting box section provided opposite the lower side of the first and fourth die units, and a second collecting box section provided opposite the lower side of the second and third die units, wherein collecting channels are provided between the first to fourth die units and the first and second collecting box sections to collect the shims therethrough.
9 . The die according to claim 8 , wherein the first and second collecting box sections are slidingly drawable from the lower die block.
10 . The die according to claim 8 , wherein the first and second collecting box sections are provided with partition walls through which the shims discharged downwards from the first to fourth die units are sorted and collected.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
