Abstract

A bedding climate control apparatus that delivers, in a quiet manner, forced airflow from a fan/blower within a housing to selectively deliver tempered (heated via a thermal element) forced airflow and non-tempered (room temperature) forced airflow through a flexible air conduit to bedding. The blower or fan is operated with no heat from the thermal element such that the blower or fan activates or deactivates at a preset clock time or other programmed event.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 : A method of operation of a bedding climate control apparatus, comprising the steps of:
setting sequentially different temperatures to arise at different clock times or after passage of different time durations in a space within bedding; operating a bedding climate control device to maintain temperature within the space within bedding in accord with the set different temperatures at different clock times or after passage of different time durations as applicable; wherein the bedding climate control device is operative to:
inflate the space within the bedding into an inflated space by delivery of forced airflow from a blower or a fan into the space within the bedding via an air conduit that is arranged to guide the delivery of the forced airflow into the space within the bedding, and
impart heat into the forced airflow with a thermal element that is in contact with the forced airflow.

2 : The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
setting different rotation speeds of the blower or the fan to take place at different clock times or after passage of different time durations; changing speeds of the forced airflow within the inflated space over time by changing the rotation speeds of the blower or the fan in accord with applicable ones the settings of the different rotation speeds to take place at the different clock times or after passage of the different time durations as applicable; and
changing an amount of the heat imparted by the thermal element into the forced airflow to compensate for the change in the speed of the forced airflow so as to maintain the inflated space at the set different temperatures accordingly.

3 : The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting is sequentially set at the different temperatures and the imparting of the heat to the forced airflow is at different heating levels carried out in sequence in accord with different settings with at least two of the different settings each being above ambient temperature.

4 : The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
issuing commands with each of a wireless controller and a wireless protocol access enabled device, the bedding climate control device being responsive to receipt of the commands from both the wireless controller and the wireless protocol access enabled device at the same time to commence operation of the bedding climate control device in accordance with the commands.

5 : The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
issuing commands with each of a wireless controller and a wireless protocol access enabled device, the bedding climate control device being responsive to receipt of the commands to retrieve recall settings from memory storage rate in accord with the commands and carrying out operation of the bedding climate control device in accord with the retrieved recall settings, the recall settings being selected from the group consisting of time of commencement of the airflow, duration of the airflow, cessation of the airflow, temperature of the airflow, flow rate of the airflow and any combination thereof.

6 : The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
an auto-shutoff timer configured to be advanced with different time intervals to effect shut off the thermal element, the blower or fan and both.

7 : A bedding climate control apparatus, comprising:
a bedding climate control device configured to be set sequentially at different temperatures to arise at different clock times or after passage of different time durations in a space within bedding, the bedding climate control device being configured to maintain temperature within the space within the bedding in accord with the set different temperatures at different clock times or after passage of different time durations as applicable; wherein the bedding climate control device is configured to be operative to:
inflate the space within the bedding into an inflated space by delivery of forced airflow from a blower or a fan into an air conduit that is arranged to guide the delivery of the forced airflow into the space within the bedding, and
impart heat into the forced airflow with a thermal element that is in contact with the forced airflow.

8 : The bedding climate control apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the bedding climate control device is configured to set different rotation speeds of the blower or the fan to take place at different clock times or after passage of different time durations, the bedding climate control device being operative to change a speed of the forced airflow within the inflated space over time by changing the rotation speeds of the blower or the fan in accord with applicable ones the settings of the different rotation speeds to take place at the different clock times or after passage of the different time durations as applicable, the bedding climate control device being configured to change an amount of the heat imparted by the thermal element into the force airflow to compensate for the change in the speed of the forced airflow so as to maintain the inflated space at the set different temperatures accordingly.

9 : The bedding climate control apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the bedding climate control device is configured to sequentially set the different temperatures and to impart heat via the thermal element at different heating levels in sequence to the forced airflow in accord with different settings with at least two of the different settings each being above ambient temperature.

10 : The bedding climate control apparatus claim 7 , further comprising:
a wireless controller and a wireless protocol access enabled device each issuing commands, the bedding climate control device being responsive to receipt of the commands from both the wireless controller and the wireless protocol access enabled device at the same time to commence operation of the bedding climate control device in accordance with the commands.

11 : The bedding climate control apparatus claim 7 , further comprising:
