Abstract

A antitheft purse assembly for inhibiting theft includes a purse that is comprised of an electrically conductive material. A trigger is releasably coupled to the purse and the trigger is attached to a user. Thus, the trigger is triggered when the purse is forcibly removed from the user. A shocking unit is integrated into the purse and the shocking unit is electrically coupled to the trigger. The shocking unit is turned on when the trigger is triggered to deliver an electric shock to a thief who has forcibly removed the purse from the user.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . An antitheft purse assembly being configured to deliver an electric shock to a thief, said assembly comprising:
a purse having an outer wall being comprised of an electrically conductive material; a trigger being releasably coupled to said purse, said trigger being configured to be attached to a user such that said trigger is triggered when said purse is forcibly removed from the user; and a shocking unit being integrated into said purse, said shocking unit being electrically coupled to said trigger, said shocking unit being turned on when said trigger is triggered wherein said shocking unit is configured to deliver an electric shock to a thief who has forcibly removed said purse from the user.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising:
said having an opening therein, said opening having a bounding edge; and a mating unit being attached to said bounding edge of said opening, said mating unit selectively opening and closing said opening.

3 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said trigger comprises a switch being coupled to said outer wall of said purse.

4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , further comprising a lanyard being coupled to said switch wherein said lanyard is configured to be secured to the user, said lanyard turning said switch on when said lanyard is urged away from said purse.

5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , wherein said shocking unit comprises a conductor being positioned within said outer wall of said purse such that said conductor is in electrical communication with said outer wall, said conductor forming a plurality of loops in said outer wall of said purse to increase electrical communication between said conductor and said outer wall, said conductor being electrically coupled to said switch.

6 . The assembly according to claim 5 , further comprising a power supply being positioned within said outer wall of said purse, said power supply being electrically coupled to said switch such that said power supply is in electrical communication with said conductor when said switch is turned on wherein said conductor is configured to deliver the electric shock to the thief.

7 . An antitheft purse assembly being configured to deliver an electric shock to a thief, said assembly comprising:
a purse having an outer wall and an opening extending through said outer wall to access an interior of said purse, said opening having a bounding edge, said outer wall being comprised of an electrically conductive material; a mating unit being attached to said bounding edge of said opening, said mating unit selectively opening and closing said opening; a trigger being releasably coupled to said purse, said trigger being configured to be attached to a user such that said trigger is triggered when said purse is forcibly removed from the user, said trigger comprising:
a switch being coupled to said outer wall of said purse; and
a lanyard being coupled to said switch wherein said lanyard is configured to be secured to the user, said lanyard turning said switch on when said lanyard is urged away from said purse; and
a shocking unit being integrated into said purse, said shocking unit being electrically coupled to said trigger, said shocking unit being turned on when said trigger is triggered wherein said shocking unit is configured to deliver an electric shock to a thief who has forcibly removed said purse from the user, said shocking unit comprising:
a conductor being positioned within said outer wall of said purse such that said conductor is in electrical communication with said outer wall, said conductor forming a plurality of loops in said outer wall of said purse to increase electrical communication between said conductor and said outer wall, said conductor being electrically coupled to said switch; and
a power supply being positioned within said outer wall of said purse, said power supply being electrically coupled to said switch such that said power supply is in electrical communication with said conductor when said switch is turned on wherein said conductor is configured to deliver the electric shock to the thief.
