Resetting gun target

Abstract

An example resetting gun target includes a first curved rocking member; a second curved rocking member; a connector portion joining the first rocking member and the second rocking member and maintaining a space between the first rocking member and the second rocking member; and a central target panel attached to the connector portion and situated in the space between the first curved rocking member and the second curved rocking member. The resetting gun target may further include paddle portions respectively situated at a first end and a second end of each of the first curved rocking member and the second curved rocking member.

         14 . A resetting gun target, comprising:
 a first rocking member including one or more target paddles;   a second rocking member;   a connector, the first rocking member and the second rocking member being joined to the connector;   a target panel attached directly to the connector portion and disposed to be substantially perpendicular to the first and second rocking members,   wherein the first rocking member, the second rocking member, the connector, and the target panel are constructed from ballistic resistant material.   
     
     
         15 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the second rocking member includes one or more target paddles. 
     
     
         16 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , further comprising: one or more additional rocking members. 
     
     
         17 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein: the connector is integral to the target panel. 
     
     
         18 . The resetting gun target of  claim 17 , wherein a height of the connector is greater than a thickness of the connector. 
     
     
         19 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the first rocking member includes a first rocking member joining portion. 
     
     
         20 . The resetting gun target of  claim 19 , wherein the second rocking member includes a second rocking member joining portion. 
     
     
         21 . The resetting gun target of  claim 20 , wherein the connector includes a first joining portion and a second joining portion. 
     
     
         22 . The resetting gun target of  claim 21 , wherein the connector connects to the first rocking member and the second rocking member at the first rocking member joining portion and the second rocking member joining portion, respectively. 
     
     
         23 . The resetting gun target of  claim 22 , wherein the connector connects to the first rocking member at the first joining portion of the connector to form a first joint. 
     
     
         24 . The resetting gun target of  claim 23 , wherein the connector connects to the second rocking member at the second joining portion of the connector to form a second joint. 
     
     
         25 . The resetting target of  claim 24 , wherein the first joint and the second joint are disposed closer to one end of the first rocking member and the second rocking member than another end of the first rocking member and the second rocking member. 
     
     
         26 . The resetting target of  claim 14 , wherein the target panel is joined to the connector. 
     
     
         27 . The resetting target of  claim 14 , wherein the target panel extends past an end of the connector. 
     
     
         28 . The resetting target of  claim 14 , wherein the target panel is shorter than the connector. 
     
     
         29 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the target panel extends past an outermost surface of the first rocking member.

         31 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the first rocking member and the second rocking member are positioned symmetrically to each other in the resetting gun target. 
     
     
         32 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more target paddles are disposed at an end of the first rocking member. 
     
     
         33 . The resetting gun target of  claim 14 , wherein the ballistic resistant material includes one or more of steel, plate steel, iron, titanium, Kevlar, dyneema, twaron, spectra, ceramic plating material, or another material that withstands repeated gunfire.
