Abstract
A blacksmith forge assembly having at least one insulating fire brick having a centrally located bore. Fitted about the brick is a cover made of at least two sections. A burner is attached to a first end of the assembly and extends through the cover and brick and into the bore.

1 . A blacksmith forge assembly, comprising:
at least one insulating fire brick having a bore that extends from a first end to a rearward wall at a second end; a cover having at least two sections that is fitted about the insulating fire brick; and a burner that is connected to and extends through the cover and the insulating fire brick to the bore.
2 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein the cover has a first section fitted around a top and sides of the insulating fire brick and a second section that covers a bottom of the insulating fire brick and overlaps the first section.
3 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein two insulating fire bricks are cut in half to form four sections.
