Abstract

A golf club head or golf club, the club including a shaft, a body, a front face, a back face, and a connecting member. The connecting member attached to the center of the back face and extending away from the back face of the club head and turning at an angle, and wherein the front face of the clubhead forms a rectangular shape.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A golf club comprising:
a shaft; and a clubhead, the clubhead having a body, a front face, and a back face, the shaft connected to the clubhead at the center of the back face by a connecting member, the connecting member extending away from the back face of the clubhead and turning to connect to the shaft; and wherein the front face of the clubhead forms a rectangular shape.

2 . The golf club of claim 1 wherein:
the golf club is a putter, the clubhead further comprising a weight assembly supported by the clubhead body, the weight assembly angling from the top of the backside of the clubhead towards connection point.

3 . The golf club of claim 2 wherein:
the weight assembly engulfs the connection point on at least three (3) sides and forms a triangle on the back face of the clubhead.

4 . The golf club of claim 3 wherein:
the connection point is tapered as it extends away from the back face of the clubhead.

5 . The golf club of claim 3 wherein:
the weight assembly forms a curved triangle from a topside view with said triangle's vortices being defined by the edges of the back side of the clubhead and the connection point.

6 . The golf club of claim 3 wherein:
the weight assembly when viewed from a side-on view is located on the top of the connection point, but not on the bottom thereof.

         7 . A golf club head comprising:
a body, a front face, a back face, and a connecting member; the connecting member attached to the center of the back face and extending away from the back face of the club head and turning at an angle; and wherein the front face of the clubhead forms a rectangular shape.

8 . The golf club head of claim 7 further comprising:
 a weight assembly supported by the club head body, the weight assembly angling from the top of the backside of the clubhead towards connection point;

9 . The golf club head of claim 8 wherein:
the connection point is tapered as it extends away from the back face of the clubhead.

10 . The golf club of claim 9 wherein:
the weight assembly engulfs the connection point on at least three (3) sides and forms a triangle on the back face of the clubhead.

11 . The golf club of claim 10 wherein:
the weight assembly forms a curved triangle from a topside view with said triangle's vortices being defined by the edges of the back side of the clubhead and the connection point.

12 . The golf club of claim 11 wherein:
the weight assembly when viewed from a side-on view is located on the top of the connection point, but not on the bottom thereof.

         13 . A golf club, comprising:
a shaft; and a body including: a ball striking face; a back face defined in the body at a location behind the ball striking face; a connection point extending in a direction away from the back face, wherein the connection point is connected to the center of mass of the body; wherein the connection point turns upwards and connects to the shaft; the striking face adapted for striking a ball.

14 . The golf club of claim 13 wherein:
the ball striking face forms a rectangular shape.

15 . The golf club of claim 14 further comprising:
a weight assembly supported by the body, the weight assembly the weight assembly surrounding the connection point on at least three (3) sides; and
wherein the connection point is tapered as it extends away from the back face.

16 . The golf club of claim 15 wherein:
the weight assembly forms a curved triangle from a topside view with said triangle's vortices being defined by the edges of the back side of the clubhead and the connection point
