Abstract
A contents receiving system can include a content receiver and a portable terminal storing ID information. The content receiver can further include: a receiving unit capable of receiving content and subsidiary content from at least one of a broadcast wave and a network; an output unit capable of outputting, as audio video content, a video and/or audio of the content received by the receiving unit; a transmission unit capable of transmitting the subsidiary content to the portable terminal, the transmission unit enabling information on a payment transaction corresponding to an ID information of the portable terminal to be transmitted to the portable terminal individually, the portable terminal including: a second transmission unit capable of receiving the subsidiary content and the information on the payment transaction transmitted from the transmission unit of the content receiver; and a processing unit for performing a processing regarding the payment transaction.

6 . A contents receiving system comprising:
a first content receiver; and a second content receiver; wherein the first content receiver includes: a first receiver receiving main content and its subsidiary content; a first controller outputting the main content and subsidiary content received by the first receiver; a converter down-converting video information of the main content; and a transmitter transmitting the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content to the second content receiver; and wherein the second content receiver includes: a second receiver receiving the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content which is or are transmitted by the transmitter; and a second controller outputting the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content which is or are received by the second receiver.

wherein the converter down-converts a display resolution.

wherein the converter down-converts information about content image format processing functions.

wherein the converter down-converts information about audio processing functions.

wherein the second controller displaying a menu about contents, and wherein the receiving by the second receiver is based on a user's selection via the menu.

wherein the menu is hierarchized.

wherein the menu is based on an operation history of the user.

wherein the first controller authenticates a connection between the first content receiver and the second content receiver.

wherein a number of the second content receiver is more than one.

wherein the subsidiary content which is received by the second receiver of the second content receiver differ from the subsidiary content which is received by the second receiver of another second content receiver.
16 . A method for receiving contents between a first content receiver and a second content receiver,
wherein the first content receiver includes a first receiver, a first controller, a converter and a transmitter, and wherein the second content receiver includes a second receiver and a second controller, comprising the steps of: receiving, by the first receiver, main content and its subsidiary content; outputting, by the first controller, the main content and subsidiary content; converting, by the converter, video information of the main content; and transmitting, by the transmitter, the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content from the first content receiver to the second content receiver; receiving, by the second receiver, the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content; and outputting, by the second controller, the down-converted video information or the down-converted video information and the subsidiary content.

further comprising a step of converting, by the converter, a display resolution.

further comprising a step of converting, by the converter, information about content image format processing functions.
