Abstract
A buried utility marker assembly for indicating the location of buried utilities at night includes a stake that is inserted into ground. The stake is aligned with a buried utility to indicate a location of the buried utility. Additionally, the stake is comprised of a florescent material such that the stake is visible at night. The stake is comprised of a light reflective material to reflect light thereby enhancing visibility of the stake at night.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A buried utility marker assembly being comprised of a light reflective material wherein said assembly is configured to be visible at night, set assembly comprising:
a stake being inserted into ground, said stake being aligned with a buried utility wherein said stake is configured to indicate a location of the buried utility, said stake being comprised of a florescent material wherein said stake is configured to be visible at night, said stake being comprised of a light reflective material wherein said stake is configured to reflects light thereby enhancing visibility of said stake at night.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said stake has a first end and an outer surface, said outer surface having a first side and a second side, said first end tapering to a point to pierce the ground, each of said first side and said second side having indicia being printed thereon.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said indicia comprise words describing a warning relating to the buried utility.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein said indicia comprise an image corresponding to the buried utility.
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said stake is comprised of a synthetic polymer such that said stake resists deteriorating from exposure to elements.
6 . A buried utility marker assembly being comprised of a light reflective material wherein said assembly is configured to be visible at night, set assembly comprising:
a stake being inserted into ground, said stake being aligned with a buried utility wherein said stake is configured to indicate a location of the buried utility, said stake being comprised of a florescent material wherein said stake is configured to be visible at night, said stake being comprised of a light reflective material wherein said stake is configured to reflects light thereby enhancing visibility of said stake at night, said stake having a first end and an outer surface, said outer surface having a first side and a second side, said first end tapering to a point to pierce the ground, each of said first side and said second side having indicia being printed thereon, said indicia comprising words describing a warning relating to the buried utility, said indicia comprising an image corresponding to the buried utility, said stake being comprised of a synthetic polymer such that said stake resists deteriorating from exposure to elements.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
