Abstract
Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

1 . A foot-therapy and toe-aligning device, comprising:
a frame having a top portion and a bottom portion, each of which extends lengthwise along a frame length, and further comprising a front portion and a back portion; and four separators integrally formed with and extending between the top and bottom portions of the frame, the four separators being formed of a transparent elastic gel and being spaced apart along the frame length to define at least three sealed toe holes arranged side-by-side along the frame length between adjacent separators, each of the sealed toe holes having an entrance at the back portion of the frame, an exit at the front portion of the frame, and a continuous surrounding wall that circumscribes the toe hole, the continuous side wall of each sealed toe hole being an integrally formed, continuous, and unbroken surrounding wall formed by the adjacent separators and corresponding top and bottom portions of the frame, wherein the sealed toe holes extend between the front and back portions of the frame and are configured to receive toes of a human foot
2 . A foot-therapy and toe-aligning device, comprising:
a frame, the frame being formed of a transparent elastomeric material and having a frame length extending between opposed first and second ends of the frame, the frame having a top portion, a bottom portion, a front portion, a back portion, and further including a first peripheral projection and a second peripheral projection, the first and second peripheral projections rising upwards from the first and second ends of the frame, respectively; and wherein the frame further includes a plurality of stretchable toe posts formed of a transparent elastomeric material that are integrally formed with the top portion of the frame and are spaced apart along the frame length between the first and second peripheral projections, each of the toe posts extending upwards from the top portion of the frame along a center post axis to a handle, and wherein the handle of each of the toe posts is independent of the handle of the other toe posts.
3 . A method of forming a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device, the method comprising acts of:
forming a frame, the frame being formed of a transparent elastomeric material and having a frame length extending between opposed first and second ends of the frame, the frame having a top portion, a bottom portion, a front portion, a back portion, and further including a first peripheral projection and a second peripheral projection, the first and second peripheral projections rising upwards from the first and second ends of the frame, respectively; and wherein the frame is further formed to include a plurality of stretchable toe posts formed of a transparent elastomeric material that are integrally formed with the top portion of the frame and are spaced apart along the frame length between the first and second peripheral projections, each of the toe posts extending upwards from the top portion of the frame along an axis extending from the frame toward a bulbous end, and wherein the end of each of the toe posts is independent of the ends of the other toe posts.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
