Abstract

A method includes generating motion data by receiving a gyroscope data from a gyroscope sensor, performing integration using the gyroscope data and generating an integrated gyroscope data using a first processor. The method further includes receiving a data from one or more sensors, other than the gyroscope sensor, and performing sensor fusion using the integrated gyroscope data and the data to generate motion data using a second processor.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What we claim is:

         1 . A system comprising;
 a first silicon substrate including a first processor and configured to receive 3-axis data, the 3-axis data indicative of an orientation of a device, the 3-axis data including a sensor bias, wherein the first processor is configured to remove the sensor bias and generate a first processor output, further wherein, the first processor is configured to implement a low power quaternion algorithm on the first processor output, the low power quaternion algorithm causing integration of at least a portion of the first processor data and generate integration data and the integration data is a representation of quaternion data, the quaternion data representative of a quaternion operation performed on the integration data; a second silicon substrate communicatively coupled to the first silicon substrate and configured to receive the quaternion data, the second silicon substrate configured to execute sensor fusion operation on the quaternion data and generate sensor fusion data, wherein the quaternion data has a first data rate and the sensor fusion data has a second data rate, wherein the second data rate is lower than the first data rate, the sensor fusion data transmitted to external devices requiring lower data rate input.
